What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Elected officials need to remember it is not their money they are spending and get back to core government functions such as roads & transportation and public safety. Other spending especially that designed for social engineering and coercing individual behaviors through the expenditures of public funds needs to be eliminated.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C) because promises have been made to generations of Americans regarding Medicare in their senior years that need to be kept. A transition plan to wean people off of Medicaid needs to be developed.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

From within the country -A sovereign nation has to be able to control its borders, that includes immigration and visa programs that are based on national security, worker availability, current worker needs as well as a fair and efficient process to accommodate those needs. While that is a start it does nothing for the home-grown terrorist that becomes radicalized through social media and other means. Balancing our freedoms with the need for national security when it comes to monitoring media and other activities for terrorist threats always needs to have oversight. Threats from outside the country need to rooted out as early as possible and dealt with in a manner to discourage further attempted attacks.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Bear in mind immigration and citizenship are not the same and we are a nation of immigrants. No immigrant should be allowed in that poses a threat to the country! We should have some sort of temporary guest worker program that has the ability to monitor the whereabouts of the worker to ensure the temporary part of the visa is upheld - this could pertain to more jobs than the manual labor that may come to mind. The basic rule of thumb is do they bring value to the U.S.
