14. What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers within the Constitution?

Our founding fathers had experienced life under tyranny. They realized that their lives were a blessing from God. That blessing was not placed on this earth to be used and abused by other mere mortals regardless of their stature in life. While they recognize that we have the right to live free and the freedom to choose and pursue our happiness those freedoms could only be protected by granting limited authority to a governing body.

18. Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I would like to think of myself as a compassionate, and considerate individual of Christian beliefs. While I cannot quote the Bible, I do believe that there is a passage that says "Judge ye not lest ye be judged". I know that in my lifetime I have made mistakes and will undoubtedly make some as I grow older. I do believe however that when my day comes God will accept me into his kingdom. His judgment and approval of my character is all that I seek.
