QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
With the informed consent of the mother and, if possible, father, in circumstances where the child will, based on available medical data, not likely survive and proceeding with the birth will put the life of the mother in jeopardy, also based upon medical data.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
The state does have a balanced budget. As we face the uncertainty of a budget under COVID, each unit of our state government should decrease their budgets. With the proliferation of remote meetings and working, governmental agencies and departments can reduce overhead.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It means that the government should not interfere with a person's right to worship. It does not mean that government should be free of influence from the church. Our government was established on Biblical principles.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I would promote transparency in the cost of health care and allow for health savings accounts. I would also look into allowing reciprocity of licensing with other states. We lost many doctors after the Affordable Care Act was enacted. If we had more qualified doctors, all Texans would have more access to affordable health care.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Immigration is a complicated matter that has historically been handled by allowing citizens of certain countries to legally come to the United States in greater numbers than citizens from other countries. Once we secure our boarder, Congress should work on setting parameters for immigration. Background checks from some countries are unreliable from some countries and non-existent from others making verification of the identity of the person and their intent for entering our country impossible to accurately determine.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Disagree
Promotion of the LGBT agenda in public schools, including teaching of “sexual orientation” and “gender identity”, is completely inappropriate and should be opposed at the state and local level.
Strongly Agree
I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
There is one God. He spoke the earth and animals into existence. He formed mankind and breathed life into us. Because our sin, both original and personal, He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to live on earth and die at our hands. Three days after His earthly death, Christ rose from the grave having conquered death and taken on the sins of all who believe in Him. He went to prepare a place for us and will return to take those whom believe in Him back with Him. One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. I choose to do that daily.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have a BA in Business Administration and History from MidAmerica Nazarene University and a law decree from The University of Texas in Austin. While at MNU, I lettered three years in football, was a team captain during my final year, was a resident assistant and an All-American Scholar-Athlete. At UT, I was the financial director for the Cabinet of College Councils which was a campus wide entity and a member of the Student Bar Association. I have practiced law for over 20 years with a dozen of those years representing municipalities as City attorney. During this representation, I have drafted hundreds of laws and worked with my client cities in every aspect of the operation of their governments. I have also represented numerous foster families in the adoption of children including interventions in both bench and jury trials and worked with legislators regarding foster parent rights. Since May 2018, I have served on the Cedar Park City Council.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I want to continue the growth of the Texas economy. To do this we, as Texans, must remain consistent to what brought about the Texas Miracle and not follow failed and failing polices of other states.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Individuals convicted of felonies and other crimes of moral turpitude and individuals diagnosed with certain mental illnesses should not be allowed to own and carry guns.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
Of course, I would work with other legislators regarding pro-life issues, Second Amendment and protecting our children from curriculum and other public school policies that questions their gender identity. I would also like to look at opportunities for school choice including vouchers, water rights within municipalities, and the Child Protective Services system.
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
As a minority, I do not believe there is systemic racism in the United States. The average citizen of the United States is not a racist. Racism is a tool being used by some to solidify their power and take away our God given rights.
