What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I would eliminate all spending on the drug war, as well as on the DEA,CIA,NSA,ICE,DHS, and all contracted security & military forces. I would reduce spending on the military by at least 30% because we spend more than the next 10 nations combined totaling over 680 billion dollars which is roughly 52% of the federal budget. Over 500,000 Americans are homeless any given night. Over 45,000 Americans die annually due to lack of healthcare, and 1/10 people ration medicine due to cost.

I am also co-sponsor of the Permaculture Sustainable Future Plan which expands on the Green New Deal in terms of policy proposals for the nation we need to create in the next century if we are to survive as a nation, as well as salvage and rehabilitate as much as we possibly can of our global ecosystems.
