QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Only in the case of a threat to the life of the mother or of a terminal illness that would prevent the birth of the child (e.g., anencephaly)

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

The federal government should support the conservative Dobbs v Jackson ruling, which reversed Roe v Wade and restored to states and their voters the right to prove that America is pro-life.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The government and state serve only to protect these God-given rights. America has become more secular and left-leaning. The worst threat to the separation of church and state today is from the far left. Radicals in DC and academics are trying to promote racist, communist, and anti-American ideology as a sort of new religion–and make it a mandate. The 1st Amendment guarantees freedom of religion, and as your Congresswoman, I will always defend this Constitutional freedom with all my heart.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Agree

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

National security means securing OUR nation–not building new ones. Our national security starts with securing our borders and making our economy strong. Our interest has always extended outside our borders, as well. We must support allies that are beacons of freedom in dark regions. In particular, the support of Israel must be unattenuated and utterly committed to guaranteeing their qualitative military and calculated investments in securing the freedom and security of other nations.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

The US’s relationship with Israel is essential. Our relationship is uniquely powerful through our shared Judeo-Christian heritage, devotion to freedom, and commitment to guaranteeing that there will be no second Shoah. We must be utterly committed to ensuring Israel’s independence, freedom, and qualitative military edge. President Trump made significant strides toward a more lasting peace in the Middle East: we must build on and support that success by continuing support for the state of Israel.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

The US military is the greatest in the world, and we owe our military personnel a debt of undying gratitude. We’ve lost sight of the purpose of our armed forces and allowed left-wing progressives to distract us from the purpose–readiness for national security. Contractors pitch deals for themselves but little to advance operations. The military needs to fight for American freedom only. We must teach our children about American exceptionalism, as we are obligated to fight for this great nation.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. Vaccines must be proven safe and effective after long scientific studies, with authorization and full consent of parents/guardians. The COVID-19 vaccine does not meet those standards. I stand firmly with the parents on their decision.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

I take a position between C and D. We should not eliminate these programs outright because that would be unjust to all of those who were given the expectation that they would be there for them. A society needs a safety net: freedom is not anarchy. We must also never neglect our veterans: we must continue to fund the VA to serve our soldiers. A thorough audit of these three entitlements is needed to root out the fraud, inefficiency, and self-dealing that is sadly endemic.

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?

I would introduce/sponsor legislation that would close the borders, cut wasteful spending, audit and reduce entitlements, cut the red tape that holds back business owners from creating jobs, and reduce taxes across the board.

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Strongly Agree

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

First, we must secure the border and enforce our existing immigration laws. Once we have fixed our current laws, we can discuss a market-driven immigration system driven by the labor needs of individual states. We must thoroughly vet all immigrants only to allow hard-working, law-abiding people into our country to pursue the American dream.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

We do NOT need more restrictions on gun ownership—just the opposite. Gun restrictions only enable criminals who don’t follow the law. As a woman, I carry a gun to defend myself because I need to be my first responder. Growing up in Mexico, where there are strict gun prohibitions, more lives have been lost under that approach. That country is a place of lawlessness, overrun by crime and drug cartels that even law enforcement and the military are helpless to keep in check.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

Strongly Disagree

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

We need to return to the ideals of our federalist founding; a small and efficient federal government that secures the nation and leaves the states to be the laboratories of democracy.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

My values are founded by my Catholic faith. America is exceptional when we value morality and strong family units. Attempts by the Left are to destroy these values. They promote secularism and reject religion. This has led to the moral decay of our country, particularly among our young people. It is no wonder we have seen a tragic rise in teen suicide, drug use, and alcohol abuse. We must return to a country that values faith, family, and freedom.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Texas’ all-of-the-above approach to energy is a model for the nation. We must build more natural gas and nuclear power plants to meet America’s growing energy needs. We must support the American oil and gas industry to not rely on foreign countries.
