QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Abortion is not healthcare.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

When the life of the mother is at risk and/or the fetus is not viable.

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

As the recent ruling from the Supreme Court of United States confirmed, abortion is up to individual states, not the federal government.

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?

Support private property rights, which are foundational to individual wealth accumulation and economic freedom. Also, reduce government spending, support deregulation or fair regulation, economic growth, education and job opportunities, lower taxes.

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Agree

There are ways to assist in student loan debt that do not require shifting the burden to those not responsible for student debt. For example, we can tax college endowments to help pay off the debt. We can also look into applying the same bankruptcy laws to student debt that we apply to other types of debt, which would align with our Constitution. Finally, the predatory lending to aspiring college students in particular needs to end.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Traditionally, the phrase "separation of church and state" is linked to the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, which states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," but the phrase "separation of church and state" isn't actually in the Constitution. It is attributed to Thomas Jefferson, in a letter he wrote, which discussed the freedom to have a personal, not political, relationship with God and religion.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Disagree

Private individuals and businesses should be free to operate in accordance with their moral and/or religious beliefs as long as doing so does not infringe on the rights of others.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

As long as they are unwilling to accept liability for adverse reactions to injections that they require, they should not require them and they should not penalize those who decline to get the injections.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private, affordable healthcare options.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

The United States has become too involved in others' policies, sometimes to our detriment, and should be more focused on investing in America and Americans.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The CCP poses a major threat to the USA and global politics.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

The United States' relationship with every country is important. We want peace and good relations with everyone worldwide and Israel has the right to defend itself.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

Well, the military COVID vaccine mandate, which was implemented via executive order by Biden, caused an immediate reduction in recruits and retention, but before that, there was a loss due to shifting priorities.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

President Trump, despite being blocked by both Republicans and Democrats, made great progress in securing our southern border. Biden immediately reversed Trump's gains, to the detriment of every American citizen. We need to get back to Trump-era level border security at the least.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

In order to immigrate to Mexico, one must past a proficiency test in Spanish, a background check, provide documentation to prove that one is who he/she claims, pass a civics exam, etc. These are all very reasonable requirements which the United States used to impose on immigrants. I believe we should re-implement such requirements to make the immigration process to the United States at least as safe and orderly as the immigration process into Mexico and other civilized countries is.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

The best investment my parents ever made in me was sending me to private school. All children should have the same opportunity. I therefore strongly support options like voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schooling. I learned a lot from the social interaction at school, but I know some great kids and adults who were home schooled.

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

Yes, please.

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

I cannot imagine what kind of person would answer anything other than "Strongly Agree" to this question, but, please, for the sake of our country, do not vote for anyone who does not Strongly Agree with the above statement. Thank you.

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As our Constitution says, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." So, as a Congresswoman I would not legislate others' religions or religious practices. As for my personal beliefs, I have always and will always believe in and praise the one true God described to us in the Ten Commandments.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Disagree

Personally, I do not like having to show my photo ID. However, when I think of all the places that ask for photo ID's now (airlines, doctors, credit card merchants), asking for a photo ID isn't such a big ask, especially when you consider how much it would secure our elections. As long as we make provisions for people who, for whatever reason, are eligible to vote but unable to provide photo ID at the voting booth, photo ID for voting is a good security measure.

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Disagree

The Electoral College prevents densely populated urban areas or regions from dominating election outcomes. It also ensures that interests of less populous states and rural areas are not overlooked. This is by Constitutional design and I support it.

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

Some girls and women are actually being brutally beaten and disabled because men and boys are allowed to compete with them in sports and to occupy traditionally female spaces. It's ridiculous, but also very serious and dangerous and if I were in Congress I would use my legislative power to ban it.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Strongly Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

A mix of energy sources is necessary to ensure reliability since the reliability of an energy source depends not only on its technical characteristics but also on geographic and economic factors. Main options: natural gas, renewables, coal, nuclear

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I am a Constitutional Conservative. After all, I am running for a seat that requires an oath. That oath says "I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States."

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The purpose of the U.S. government is to uphold the principles and laws of the United States Constitution.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

Strongly Disagree

Sorry, Dems. Nine is fine.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Are you asking if I want to defund the police? I do not.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The right to bear arms shall not be infringed. We can ensure public safety from dangerous people by prosecuting dangerous people who commit crimes before they commit more crimes. We can also protect our border better to prevent more firearms, and more dangerous people with firearms, from circulating.
