QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

If the mother's life is in jeopardy, abortion should be allowed.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Disagree

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Eliminate it and establish a varied tax scheme on purchases.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Choice is the gift of God and no government should be given the power to dictate beliefs, observances nor practices.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

No one should be compelled to act against their conscience.

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

The Constitution is written to limit the powers of government in the people's pursuit of happiness. Religious restriction is to ensure the state does not dictate in the realm of religious belief, observance and/or practice.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Perhaps when therec is a real pandemic...

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C. The US has initiated and/or engaged in many wars/conflicts under the pretext of spreading democracy or saving a country from a threat, while Countries do not share historical experience and while we hope that men's voices are heard by their governments, it is not the duty of any country to foist that condition upon another. We have overstepped our bounds. Economic and cultural diplomacy are peaceful means of sharing experience.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

Israel remains the only government in the Middle East that is democratic and all major interests are represented in government.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Nuf said. All regimes regimes that that deny their citizens basic human freedoms threaten human progress.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

We should stop funding the organizations that perpetrate terrorism.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Disagree

The first duty of government is to secure the safety of its people. Border security is its fundamental responsibility. Finish the wall.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Sanctuary status anathema to the rule of law to whom all are subject.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

The standard for immigration should be based on merit, that perspective citizens are those who come to contribute and offer skills. We have an existing and the world's most generous program for refugees in order to make provision for those whom suffer persecution from their own governments.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Under the Constitution, all men are created equal, and discrimination based on ethnicity, race, religion or sexual discrimination is unlawful. No further special protections need be offered.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

CRT is a divisive curriculum and undermines harmony, mutual respect and unity, the chief goal of society.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

God made man in His own image that we might pursue lives of purpose, personal responsibility and destiny. Government's role is to provide the framework within which personal potential might be maximized by equal opportunity and protections with minimal government involvement.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Agree

If I need an ID for a library card or to get onto a plane, I should certainly need to identify myself to vote for our President, representatives, law-makers!

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

We should return to one-day paper votes, hand-counted. Previous allowances for those abroad and/or disabled (absentee ballots) need to be restored.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

It is anathema to our Constitution to force a person/s to pay for other's wrongs.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism exists everywhere, but the USA is the least racist of any of the 36 countries to which I have visited and/or lived. We are one of the most reflective and have made fantastic progress in our short history, while the need to improve remains. made when focused on what is ahead, with an eye on the rearview mirror.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

Hydraulic fracking and natural gas resources have reached goals for minimal environmental damage, while alternative energy sources are being developed and improving in accessibility, reliability and costs

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A. The stringent environmental laws and regulations are costing too much in production and jobs. Transferring energy dependence is a process and many technological developments are yet to come. We need to build nuclear power plants, water desalinization plants both of which are now possible with minimal damage to the environment.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Choose not to answer

The understanding and meaning of each label rests in the mind of the individual. I find labels more limiting than useful in describing an individual's positions. I am for the maximum freedom of each and every human in his/her life's journey to develop, grow and manifest personal potential.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Choose not to answer

I don't know enough about the funding of such programs, the norms, or variability across departments in order to make a reasonable answer.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Felons convicted of gun violence should not be be able to purchase a gun.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Should victims in car accidents be able to sue car manufacturers?
