I'd eliminate IRS and Departments of Commerce, Education, Energy and Housing and Urban Development. Legislate a Balanced Budget Amendment.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
Those words are not found in the US Constitution. It is a phrase used by the left to keep many church/congregations at bay and not participating in being good stewards of their government. 1st Amendment states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof". The "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" ensures we remain a Judaeo-Christian founded government but we'll have to fight back this quote. Finally, I'm for putting God back into our government. I will always fight for our Religious Freedoms.

Repeal Obamacare. Also, we need to promote free-market based healthcare by deregulating as much as needed to drive competition. Of key is allowing cross State purchasing of insurance. Also, we need to protect people's right to private healthcare policies. The government should not ever interfere with your ability to keep and or acquire private healthcare. We need to promote rural healthcare by promoting competition in trauma and emergency care providers by deregulating that area of healthcare.

I retired as Lt Col (USAF). I own a home building business. I grew up in Del Rio Texas, a border town. Therefore, I know intimately what growing up on the border means. This coupled with my almost 22 years of experience as a military Latin-America (Foreign Area Officer) expert, makes me the most qualified and most ideal candidate and next Congressman of CD23. I entered this Congressional race to secure the border for all citizens (including my family and friends) in all 29 counties I hope to represent. AND, because congress has failed to act. I support Mr Trump and the America First Agenda. I'll help President Trump secure our border. Also, we need jobs in this district. It has some of the most impoverished areas in our nation. I'll change that. Lastly, I'm the only home grown candidate with a 2 year plan to ensure local races go Republican by the year 2024, ensuring we keep CD23 and Texas RED!
