I would support the Penny Plan, which requires a 1% across the board cut every year until the budget is balanced. I would also support a balanced budget amendment and a ‘no budget, no pay’ legislation for members of Congress.
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
Under very, very limited circumstances. Federalizing student loans makes no sense. Student loans were voluntarily entered into and lenders offer a valuable service. If college is too expensive, then students should seek other types of educational opportunities.

By eliminating Obama Care ( ACA ) we need to move back towards a free market system that allows health care companies to properly compete against each other for free enterprise and competitive rates. The exponential rise in healthcare costs for citizens is unacceptable and we need to return back to free enterprise. Pre existing conditions will be covered to ensure that citizens are covered and not left between the cracks.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Strategic counter terrorism units, strong military and cooperation with allies to strategically root out radical Islamic terrorists at the source. Containing Islamic radical terrorists is one of the most important issues that face the security of the United States today. By continuing to keep our military well funded and with the means necessary by allowing our military leaders to attack and defend assets across the globe is key.

Judeo-Christian values are the cornerstone of our great republic. I am proud practicing Catholic! I have been attending Saint Mary Magdalene Church my whole life. The values that Christianity, Catholicism and Judeo values embody are the bedrock of our foundation.

As a career Cryptologist, I was stationed at the Navy Information Operations Detachment Kaneohe Bay, HI, U.S. Central Command in Tampa, Florida, USS MICHAEL MURPHY in Pearl Harbor, HI, Center for Information Warfare Training Center in Pensacola, Florida, Office of Legislative Affairs in Washington, D.C., and Navy Information Operations Command in San Antonio, Texas. I deployed multiple times in support of combat operations to Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom) and Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom), and in support of regional security operations throughout Asia. I previously served on Capitol Hill as a Department of Defense Legislative Fellow in U.S. Senator Marco Rubio’s office where he contributed to the defense, foreign policy, and intelligence portfolios. As an active member in the community, I founded the Tony Gonzales Foundation, a non-profit focused on empowering and encourage growth and development in impoverished areas of San Antonio.
