How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
One, stop payments to those not authorized them. Two, stop raiding the funds for political uses. Three, ensure what we are reserving is enough to ensure future availability. Four, increase the amount we are now repaying the fund so there is a possibility of breaking even. (The amount now is only adequate to keep the fund viable, not full repayment.) It may, someday, come down to increasing withholding so there is enough in the fund.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
While a balanced budget is an elusive goal, the Department of Education, many grants for dubious goals and international grants to countries that want to kill us. Pork barrel issues added to bills must not be allowed.

Continue to work with allies to gather information on and eliminate terrorists. Terrorism is a means to achieving a set of goals not in line with any national goals. They are either political or religious fringe groups. A civilized world cannot function with these types of individuals/groups attacking innocents.

Anyone must be allowed to petition to emigrate to the US. Controls must be in place to filter out bad actors, which include violent criminals, terrorists, etc. The US is a life boat to the world. We have capacity as does a life boat. We must ensure fairness in our law and ensure those who come here are not an immediate drain on our social services resources.
