QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
NEVER, Doe v Bolton expanded abortion rights to include mom's life yet, the statistics show that less than .05% are cases where the mom's life is in danger. Furthermore, the medical community's opinion is that having an abortion will actually increase the % of danger for the mom. Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton were cases decided under the penumbra of the implied powers of the Constitution base on the women's right to privacy.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It means that the state should not infringe on the church or make a state religion. Freedom of religion prevents our government from forcing citizens to practice any single kind of religion. ... Freedom of religion definitely makes the lives of citizens of the United States better.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Everything possible to not only eradicate but establish deterrent consequences to those who participate in acts of terrorism. I strongly believe in diplomacy by force and making sure companies who fund terrorist organizations directly or indirectly are not able to operate in the United States or do business with the United States.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.
Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
By having a strong economy where the unemployment rate keeps dropping is the best way to ensure healthcare coverage and allowing the free market to operate within the healthcare and pharma industries will provide employers competitive and adequate opportunities for those who want to participate.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Social Security must be a priority for the next Congress because it faces an $11.4 trillion deficit over the next 75 years. Social Security is much larger than it was ever intended to be and that maintaining its current benefit structure will cause a huge drag on workers’ paychecks and economic growth. Congress should fix, not eliminate, the windfall elimination provision by adopting a proportional formula as part of a broader Social Security reform package that protects the most vulnerable beneficiaries, prevents undue tax and debt burdens on younger generations, and returns control and ownership over retirement savings to individuals. Furthermore, in a bipartisan effort, Congress also should not pander to affected beneficiaries’ desire for larger benefits by increasing their payout for decades, or permanently.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Entitlements
Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?
Under none. I do believe the cost of higher education has skyrocketed and measures that protect the consumer should be set in place.
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
People who will be an asset to our country should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. Furthermore, potential immigrants should follow our current Immigration system.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Agree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None, guns don't kill people, people kill people. I support criminal control; however, if a nation is unable to defend itself against the forces of tyranny within its government because the right to bear arms is so badly eroded, it undermines the spirit and intention of the 2nd amendment. Every regulation, restriction or law that infringes upon Americans' right to keep and bear arms, prevents America from being truly free.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Disagree
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
1. Life Amendment recognizing a baby in the womb as a person at conception making all laws of the land applicable to them, including but not limited to the 5 & 14 Amendments 2. Immigration Reform 3. Amendment to Article 1, Section 6 which allows Congress to receive their salary during a government shutdown and in recent shutdowns has left many federal workers without pay. The proposed legislation would make Congress a participant in the shutdown not receiving pay during the shutdown
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes, racism is a threat to domestic security because it creates an environment of hostility and hate. However, the so-called racism this administration is accused of is false and that is also a threat to domestic security.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I have supported the current administration's initiatives in protecting the most vulnerable, from defunding Planned Parenthood to not renewing the Iran Deal which was most pernicious to the welfare of our nation and it's citizens. I have led initiatives to bring awareness in my community specifically faith community, to the current state of affairs in which many bare persuaded to believe the liberal media. Most currently, we were able to organize a visit to the White House with Hispanic Pastors and leaders who are now empowered with the knowledge of the truth. I am a Border Patrol wife and I support our state's sovereignty and understand that it is important to the security of our nation that the border be secured through physical and legislative barriers.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
Never
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I am a regular citizen who is affected by the laws passed in Congress and I am alarmed at the decay of ethics and truthfulness Congress operates under. False accusations run rapid in government without regard to the precedent it establishes and the legacy we will leave for future generations. The American Dream and our country are at stake and if people who love our country and support progress through hard work, do not serve in Congress we will become another Venezuela. I am a Border Patrol and Veteran wife, mother of 3 and grandmother of 3, my parents migrated from Mexico to offer their children a better opportunity. I believe the United States is the greatest country in the world and I agree with American exceptionalism.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Agree
iVoterGuide Notes:
After the voter guide was published, candidate notified iVoterGuide that the intended answer to this survey question should have been ‘Strongly Disagree’.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born again Christian, I know there is only one Truth and that is that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. I strongly support my local church and consider my calling into the public a ministry. God's justice must be brought back into the halls of government at the local, state and national levels.
