OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I do allow for the cases where the health of the mother is at stake. However, these cases are so rare that they cannot define the rule. This is likely something that would happen a few times a year in this nation and also likely that the mother would choose not to have the procedure performed. I do support the use of the morning after pill in cases of rape / incest.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

1. Ensure that no migrant, refugee, or foreign national receives any social security benefit. 2. Enforce immigration laws so that the budget can be balanced 3. No means testing

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Enforcing our immigration laws would go a very long way towards balancing the budget. In addition to this, reforming the system would have immeasurable effects. I would end the TSA - opting to stop the threats at the border. I would end "use it or lose it" spending for most government branches and allow them to accrue money for a few years if needed - NASA is a good example of where this could help. I would end the wars overseas and place our military on our borders. End most foreign aid.

Under what circumstances should taxpayers help pay off existing student loans?

None. We should simply remove the government guarantee on these loans and allow that debt to fall back to the universities. The federal government should then no longer provide assistance of any kind to universities that continue departments that place people in debt while indoctrinating them with ideologies of hatred.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

It means that the US government does not have a state recognized church and cannot interfere in church business. I also means that the church has no authority over the state. It does not mean that elected officials cannot openly discuss their faith. It does not mean that teachers, policemen, or elected officials cannot pray. It does not mean that prayer cannot be carried out at school.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

I support the elimination of private healthcare insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I break health care up into two categories - the service of the doctor, hospital, etc; and then pharmaceutical drugs. The primary component of reducing health care costs is to remove the burden of the US citizen to fund the health care of anyone who comes to our nation. Enforcement of US immigration laws will result in the removal of these citizens of other nations. Once this is done, incentives to increase the number of doctors as well as ending practices such as pass through billing and allowing insurance to be purchased across state lines will help tremendously. Lowering the cost of prescription drugs is simple. Do not allow drug companies to charge US citizens more that other nations.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Immediately halt the importation of any and all people from islamic nations and/or who identify as muslim. Islam is not consistent with our culture and our values. We must then look at the legal status of those already present in the US and the influence islamic nations and companies with islamic ties have over our Congress.

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Employers should be required to use E-verify to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I would start with the mentality that no one has the "right" to immigrate here. As to who is "allowed" to immigrate here, that should only be someone of good character whose culture does not conflict with the Christian / republican nature of the nation.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a committed Christian. I attend church regularly. My wife and I are the coordinators for our life group.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

My website lists my views - www.foxworthforcongress.com. I also write articles on American Thinker. https://www.americanthinker.com/author/joshua_foxworth/

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I have never held a political office, and I have no desire to do so. After years of approaching my Congressman and the party to get them to address illegal immigration and the rampant abuse in the tech worker programs, I finally accepted that the establishment is not unhappy with the current situation. If elected, I am pledging to demand the immediate and unconditional enforcement of immigration laws - day 1. I am also pledging to end affirmative action and demand an overhaul of the current system to one that is merit based. This is not a pledge that I make lightly. Elect me, enforce our laws, and the vast majority of illegal aliens will return to their nations of origin.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. Public safety is a reflection of the nation's culture. Gun laws will not keep you safe in places like Haiti or Somalia and the lack of them does not make you unsafe in Montana. To protect public safety, we must protect the American culture.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.

Neutral

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1. Overhaul of immigration system with moratorium. The new system would start with a default position that no person has the right to come to the US and that the US has no obligation to take in anyone. 2. End affirmative action and acknowledge its immorality and unconstitutionality 3. Health care reform

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Not in the way that term is most commonly used. Racial discrimination like affirmative action and the continual demonization of one specific racial group is a threat. The categorization of straight white males as the number one domestic terrorism threat cannot be allowed to stand.
