QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Strongly Agree
If the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, North Carolina should repeal its law allowing abortion up to 20 weeks of pregnancy.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only if danger exists to the mother's life, or in the case of rape or incest. I want families to be able to choose themselves in those instances.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Neutral
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
These words never appear in our founding documents. This is a legal interpretation. To me, the Constitution ensures that the government cannot impose itself on religious belief systems nor require any. Separation has been taken out of context. Any student, for example, should be able to carry, study, quote, or use a Bible in school. They should be able to pray openly and without penalty. The "state" should have NO say in whether a religion is barred from public view. The "state" is restricted, not the individual. The state cannot require prayer nor forbid it. The entire past 50 years of destroying civil religious liberty must be reversed. Not just for Christians but all people. Atheists and secularists HAVE religions too. And have imposed their non-beliefs on everyone. The state has NO rights. We do.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I have over 40 years experience working as a marketing director for hospitals, a doctors consortium, home health, nursing homes, insurance companies, clinics, etc. I KNOW we can open up markets to included major medical coverage with riders, and eject regulated items like fertility in every policy savings thousands per family per year, to bring down the costs. The average family pays a minimum of $14,000 annually for basic coverage with high deductibles. If there were more companies allowed to offer a range of options this cost would drop. We have to eliminate forced monopolies by geography to create freer markets.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
State, sheriff and local law enforcement agencies should be required to participate in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) 287(g) Program to enhance the safety and security of their communities to identify and detain aliens.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Anyone without a criminal record can apply, but should have to follow all the rules like members of my own family and friends. Anyone escaping a terrorist or dictatorial regime should be considered for asylum, but researched to make sure they were not participants.
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.
Strongly Disagree
Parents should have the right to know what schools are teaching their children about sex and LGBT issues and should have the right to opt their children out of any instruction to which they object.
Strongly Agree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in God and believe he saved me from a life of poverty in my youth. I made a promise to always help others without remuneration if I could get out of poverty. I did get the opportunities necessary to build more than I thought possible, so I have kept my promise for over 40 years. And always will. I believe when we quiet ourselves we can be inspired by God, and that small voice inside ourselves can help us make good decisions.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
https://www.voterivette.biz is my website. I have seen articles in the past about my statements on immigration and in televised debates, but they seem to keep getting erased from the search engines. I am for closed borders, a faster system of approvals for those qualified to become Americans, and strict rules regarding learning English, our history and civics of the US.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I spent two years in advertising and marketing, learning about business in New York, before moving to Florida and working for various small firms. I then opened by own company. I began serving dozens of small business clients, helping their companies grow. In 40 years I have worked in 24 industries across the country and around the world. I have helped contract over two billion dollars in sales for these firms. I return to college every few years to stay current. I studied Constitutional and Criminal law, psychology, and Spanish. Then Java and JavaScript. I also learned networking, server administration and software packages. I studied HTML, CSS, Joomla, and returned to earn a full modern Bachelors two years ago. I taught youth at camps on a volunteer basis. We successfully homeschooled our child and I taught courses for five years at an academy.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I am a reasonable person who has worked with very diverse teams around the world. I have had to work in multiple languages, and learn new software or work methods on the fly. I am capable of absorbing arcane material and making sense of it in communications. I will be available to my constituents, which none of my opponents have done. My background includes working for years as an appointed, licensed criminal defense investigator in capital (murder) cases, which gives me great insight into our current issues regarding law and order and how to proceed.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Felons can't have guns, nor can those adjudicated mentally ill by a court of law based on criminal acts. We should have reciprocal Constitutional carry across the nation. 80 million or more American gun owners wake up every day to find out their guns stayed right where they left them, harming no one. We should have every capable teacher and staff member in schools armed, just like in Israel. Incidents would plummet. We need to eliminate gun free zones. Criminals don't obey laws.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Strongly Agree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Strongly Disagree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
Amending Emergency Powers Act so no Governor can shut down our state by executive order ever again. Term Limits for all elected officials. Education reform to ensure parental rights and review of curricula. Legislate the requirements for various parties so that affordable housing can be build using a private-public-venture capital alliance.
