I believe that American should prosper without having to give away our competitive advantage. I believe that a matrimony should be among a man and a woman. However, If anyone does otherwise, it is their life to lead and I will not condemn them. We all have to live the way we choose and accept the consequences of our actions. I believe that we cannot be seen ask weak by our adversaries and enemies and should maintain a strong defensive posture all times. We should not always be the worlds policeman and only do so when we have clear national security objectives to accomplish or to provide for a strategic defense our our nation. I am for immigration but not for "give me you poor, your tired, your hungry." Our nation has evolved and we now need to move our country into a new era. We need the educated, the investors, the tax payers in order to succeed. Illegal immigrants need to admit that they broke the law by coming into the U.S. illegally and pay a fines. We need a re-set on immigration.

That’s what I did, that’s what I do.” I have a life-long legacy of public service starting with volunteering as a high school student, to 6-years of military service during the Vietnam War to a 31-year career with the DEA. During my career I have worked at various levels of many social issues. Those levels include working undercover on the street, or Tactical level … as well as conducting long-term investigations of 3-5 years or Operational level …. To working as a Regional Chief of Intelligence responsible for developing Strategy along the U.S.-Mexico border … to providing the U.S. Congress and the President and his Cabinet with the information that they needed to make sound Policy decisions. I have a degree in Computer Science and Masters in Law. I have served as an instrument of policy and those experiences have enabled me to now make policy with a well-seasoned skill set for the position of Representative for Texas House District 28

Bend County resident my interest in running for the State House is based on my desire to help keep Texas Strong and to help move Texas to the next level. I have served the public since I was a teenager in high school as founding member of a volunteer group that provided emergency communications and other assistance to the public during hurricanes and other natural disasters. That experience was the genesis of my interest in public service. I have never run or held political office, but I know how government works and I am sure that I can use that knowledge to benefit my friends and neighbors in this District. After a combined 37 years of military, law enforcement and intelligence service I am ready to continue this legacy; to protect and serve my friends and neighbors as their District 28 representative in Austin.
