OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

In very rare cases to save the life of the mother.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

The state constitution should limit the growth of spending to the rate of population growth plus the rate of inflation.

Strongly Agree

Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.

Strongly Agree

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Job creation is stimulated by private sector innovation and individual initiative. I will focus on building education programs and technical training to ensure our workforce is prepared for the changing job market to land the good, high-paying jobs we need.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

I believe that big government is more likely to be the problem than the solution.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Decisions about adequate healthcare are best made between a doctor and the patient. Insurance companies should not be in the business of making medical decisions. We need to reduce government and insurance regulatory burdens.

NATIONAL SECURITY

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

Islamic law (Sharia) should take precedence over national and state laws where there are Islamic majority communities in the U. S.

Strongly Disagree

I support sanctuary cities.

Strongly Disagree

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

EDUCATION

Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

Any teaching to children on sex education in public schools must include all contraceptive methods, and should not show preference to abstinence.

Strongly Disagree

People should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on "gender identity."

Strongly Disagree

Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.

Strongly Agree

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

As a Christian I understand the sinful nature of mankind. In order to maintain individual freedom and liberty, only limited and carefully defined powers should be delegated to government, all others must remain with the people or as the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution states: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am Christian who uses my faith to guide my daily life and will stand up to radical liberals seeking to destroy Texas values. I also volunteer to serve people in need around the world. During my vacation time, I have taken six Medical Service Mission trips. These medical service trips include five visits to Peru doing pediatric reconstruction surgery and women’s gynecological surgery and one visit Vietnam for burn reconstruction surgery.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please visit my website at www.AllredTX.com to see where I stand on issues.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

As a physician and political outsider, I best understand the issues and concerns that impact the welfare, safety and lives of all Texans.

E-mail address and phone number for voters to reach you:

Voters can reach me at 281-310-1029 or DrAnna@AllredTX.com

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I have a deep, abiding desire to serve. I bring a strong work ethic and experience voters want in a lawmaker who can address the issues and concerns that impact the health, welfare, safety and lives of all Texans. I'll bring the ability to listen, research and ask questions so that I can represent the priorities of the constituents of the district. I became interested in advocacy and the influence of politics on everyday lives while an anesthesia resident. I walked the halls of the Texas Capitol bringing my passion, knowledge and experience to issues facing medicine, health care and patient safety in Texas. I want to be a voice for Texas families and patients as health care issues continue to be debated and legislation passed that impacts patient’s medical care.
