QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Health of the mother, Rape, Incest

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Disagree

Abortion providers provide more than abortion services

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Neutral

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

I can not think of a reason government can close churches.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Choose not to answer

I do not believe you can answer a blanket question and expect and answer without being more specific.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

I believe all democratic governments relationships are important to the United States.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

B. Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Vaccinations have proven to be safeguards to our health. If there is an infectious out break of disease that has the possibility of spreading with disastrous outcomes we should require vaccinations.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I believe that we have to many working poor in America. We should increase minimum wage to at least a living wage.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

Yes

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Agree

The U. S. should use all the technology available, increase judges and courts to process at a faster rate.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Disagree

I believe on public schools. My grandchildren attended private schools and that was my their parents decision. certainly allowing public funds to follow the children would have helped financially but it was their decision to move my grandchildren. Until public schools are fully funded children with less resources with continue to be at a financial disadvantage.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Disagree

I do not believe in defunding police departments but I do believe in funding community programs that improve the living conditions of our citizens. I believe we can and should fund both.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Felons should not have access to firearms, minor should not have access to firearms, we should ban ownership of assault weapons, stop the sale of bump stocks

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

No

I have talked to several teachers, administrators and staff about teachers carrying guns to school. many are fearful of false feeling of protection, accidentally harming students, freezing when confronted with danger, fear of firearms and so many more plausible reasons for not allowing teachers to become officers.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Protect citizens, establish order, promote general welfare.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Agree

I agree that children should be protected from abuse

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Disagree

WE all have to stand before God for our decisions. I am a Christian and believe in the marriage of a man and a woman. It is not my duty to determine who one decides to marry. Their is a perceived separation of church and state.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian and believe in the 10 Commandments.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Agree

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Agree

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I do not believe we need to be paranoid about people who look different and speak different than the majority pf Americans. our country was built on diversity. At the same time I believe domestic insecurity is on the rise and some of it may/could be coming from our government.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Agree

The facts: exclusion of the history and lived experiences of people of color, students of color need remediation instead of appreciating their talents, school discipline policies, prison population and sentencing, schools with dominate students of color receive less funding, executive orders banning diversity & sensitivity training in the workplace, removing people of color from military websites, removing athletes of color from history books you would have to believe CRT is alive in America.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Agree
