Allow insurance carriers to sell across state lines to increase market competition. Also, promoting transparency from providers and carriers about the actual cost of every medical procedure so there are no more surprise medical bills. Lastly, if citizens were paying less of their paycheck in taxes, they would have more money for important things like healthcare.

Question 29 (just like the other questions for which I did not answer) does not give an option that would accurately describe my political views. I would say that I am extremely conservative (more than Republicans) in economic matters and liberal when it comes to social matters.

I am an Eagle Scout and a college graduate. I have also been involved in politics since I graduated high school in 2004. I am currently the Chairman of the East Baton Rouge Parish Executive Committee for the Libertarian Party.
