RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I received the American Conservative Union Award for Conseravtive Excellence in 2018 and 2019 and they score me a 91% lifetime average.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
As a small businessman and as an employer I am in constant contact with thousands of people from almost every socio-econoc class of life. I have a deep understanding of the issues common people face and a strong grasp of the solutions. Raised myself from humble beginnings I have lived through most of the socio-econoc classes.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
no
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I was born and raised in WNC where I live, work, raised a family, and maintained a successful business. At the age of 16 I entered the business world, working at McDonald’s in Hendersonville while attending West Henderson High School. Years later, after a successful career in corporate America, I purchased the very same McDonald's franchise where I began, along with other locations in Henderson, Transylvania, and Haywood counties. I studied business at Blue Ridge Community College. As a parent and grandparent, I instill the same values of Christianity, hard work, honesty, and integrity that my parents taught me. Those are the values that made me successful as a father, husband, business owner, and community leader. A leader in my community, I served with numerous non-profit boards and clubs. Even while serving in politics, I continue my community service. Instead of a politician, consider myself a small businessman- turned public servant.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.
Strongly Disagree
Parents should have the right to know what schools are teaching their children about sex and LGBT issues and should have the right to opt their children out of any instruction to which they object.
Strongly Agree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I was raised in a Christian home and I have accepted Jesus Christ as my savior. One of the keys reasons I entered politics is my discontent that government has not only distanced us from our Judeo-Christian values, but often prevents us from their observation. I believe the preamble to the North Carolina Constitution not only licenses government leaders to protect our religious freedoms and incorporate them into the laws of our land, it obligates us to do so.
