I am a practicing Roman Catholic who believes in the free enterprise system that built this nation and produces our prosperity. I believe that we each have a responsibility to improve our communities, and strengthen the future of our state and nation for the sake of our children and grandchildren. This includes becoming active participants in positively shaping the future of our children, especially the economically or spiritually impoverished. We must expand opportunity for all of the children of Texas so they can truly fulfill their potential.
