QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
My self, never, I would like to see the baby adopted. I believe no circumstance exists in which an abortion should be allowed.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.
Strongly Agree
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
The best way to lower unemployment rates is by growing the economy, fixing the budget, and investing in our people. Legislation should lower and keep taxes as low as possible for both individuals and businesses. Lowering our taxes will allow our economy to grow. This will create a demand for more jobs. More jobs creates a larger tax base, generating more tax revenue without raising taxes. A growing economy will help fix our budget. By executing these steps I feel we will find revenue to spend and to invest on infrastructure, education, and healthcare. By maintaining, upgrading, and expanding our infrastructure, this will help attract business to grow our economy and again, create quality JOBS.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
I believe in limited government involvement. The government should never pick winners and losers by subsidizing one business and not another. However, it is common knowledge that our state tax system needs to be overhauled. Until this is done, we need to modify or possibly remove Governor Edward’s executive order that adds layers of red tape for new or expanding businesses. As his executive order currently stands, it creates economic uncertainty, which negatively influences any company looking to relocate or stay in Louisiana and St. Tammany Parish. Companies choosing to relocate to Louisiana are looking for less of a tax burden and a business friendly environment. If one of our neighboring states has less taxation, Louisiana and St. Tammany will not be selected. Less business means less jobs and a smaller tax base for tax revenue without raising taxes. Once the taxes start to rise, less business will come into Louisiana creating a downward economic spiral.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
See question 31. A growing economy will help fix our budget, generating additional revenue to spend and to invest on infrastructure, education, and healthcare. Maintaining, upgrading, and expanding our infrastructure, will help attract additional business, additional growth, continue growing our economy, creating additional quality JOBS. A person who is working will have a better opportunity to purchase health care provided by their employer.
NATIONAL SECURITY
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
EDUCATION
Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.
Strongly Agree
The LGBTQ+ political agenda poses a threat to First Amendment freedoms of speech, expression and religious exercise.
Strongly Agree
I support expanding protections in employment and accommodations based on sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
Strongly Disagree
If children are given instruction in sex education in public schools, it should not express a preference for abstinence but should be comprehensive, offering discussions on various types of sexual orientations and behaviors plus all types of contraceptives.
Strongly Disagree
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The Founding Fathers wanted to form a government that did not allow one person or branch of government to have too much authority or control. For this reason they wrote the Constitution, which provides for a separation of powers, three separate branches of government, each with equal power.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
* I believe Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government and laws. * I believe in traditional family values. * I am pro-life. * I am pro first and second amendment, and believe they need to be protected. * I believe the Constitution of the United States in its entirety needs to be protected, that it is a fixed document, changeable only by the way designed in the Constitution itself. * I believe judges should not legislate from the bench.

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
It would be public record that I was an elected official to the LAGOP St. Tammany Parish Republican Executive Committee and the LAGOP Republican State Central Committee. I have filled out other publicly displayed questionnaires people can read. I have not been in an elected office where I had the opportunity to vote on legislation, and have it recorded or documented.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
As a U.S. Marine Corps Officer and Naval Aviator, I was tasked many times to perform new duties by on the job training. For example, I was the Air Working as Operations Officer for the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, Special Operations Capable (MEUSOC). It consists of a battalion of 2,000 marines, a squadron of helicopters, and approximately four jets, deployed aboard three or four navy ships. I was responsible for writing and managing the flight schedule for the squadron assigned to the MEUSOC. This squadron consisted of approximately 20 aircraft operating on land and sea. The cost of the flight hour of each aircraft varied depending on the type of aircraft flown. During the 18 months of training and sailing throughout the world, I planned the flight hour budget and managed expenditures of the allotted funds. Hundreds of hours were flown on each aircraft, costing several thousand dollars per flight hour. My diligence ensured that no extra money was spent and a surplus remained.

I served as a member of the Meadowbrook HOA, American Legion, VFW, Northshore Rep Men’s Club, Kiwanis, and Knights of Columbus. As a military officer, I fought hard for our country.
