QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Abortion should be extremely rare and only when the life of the mother is at stake.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.
Agree
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Eliminate unnecessary government regulation and taxation to unleash the power and creativity of our citizens to create economic opportunities for our communities.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The best way government can boost the economy is to reduce barriers to market entry, reduce government regulation, and reduce the tax burden on the American people.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
No Answer
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Government regulation is driving up the cost of both healthcare coverage and healthcare delivery. We need to deregulate health insurance so a wide variety of insurance plans can be available. I know people who had very affordable health insurance coverage and were happy with the healthcare they were receiving until the Affordable Care Act passed. The more competition we can have in the health insurance market, the more options will become available which should help families and businesses find and select plans that work for them.
NATIONAL SECURITY
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
EDUCATION
Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.
Agree
Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.
Strongly Agree
The LGBTQ+ political agenda poses a threat to First Amendment freedoms of speech, expression and religious exercise.
Agree
I support expanding protections in employment and accommodations based on sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
Disagree
If children are given instruction in sex education in public schools, it should not express a preference for abstinence but should be comprehensive, offering discussions on various types of sexual orientations and behaviors plus all types of contraceptives.
Strongly Disagree
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Mankind has an ever-growing desire to achieve power and control over others and resources. As founding father James Madison observed,"Men are not angels" and "ambition must be made to counteract ambition".
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in God the Father, maker of Heaven and Earth and Jesus Christ his only son who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, dead and buried. He descended into Hell and on the third day he rose from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. Jesus is my savior, redeemer, and friend.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
When working on my Masters in Public Administration, I concentrated my studies on public budgeting. I spent several years as a Legislative Assistant for Senator Mike Branch and have worked in private, Christian schools for almost 15 years. I have been active in my church and community for my adult life, and I believe that principled, determined, and dedicated leadership can truly make a difference. I have also owned and operated two small businesses in this state and understand the challenges facing our small business owners.
