Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

To save the life of the mother.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Do not allow people from countries with ties to terrorists to come into this country.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Man's lust for power and control.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Born Again Christian and my values are consistent with those values that have made this country great; God, Country, Family, The Free Market, and Personal Responsibility. I am a Retired US Marine, and Integrity and Honor mean something to me!

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Ncleg.net is the NC General Assembly website. You can pull my profile and look at my voting record over the last seven years.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

It is not the responsibility of the federal government to promote healthcare. What the federal government can do to reduce costs is to get out of the healthcare business and reduce and remove unnecessary regulations, as well as promote healthcare insurance across state lines.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

The role of government should be to stay out of the way of business and allow entreupeneurs to flourish! Reduce regulations!

What changes should be made to the tax code?

It needs to be made simpler, and it should be a flat tax or a consumption tax.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Get out of the way and let the free market do what it does best! Government needs to reduce regulations on business!

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

Social Security is a Ponzi scheme, and is unconstitutional, but because many have paid into it, I suggest keeping future funds in a separate trust fund.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

Seven years as a State Representative, twenty years as a US Marine, two terms as County Party Chairman, Founder and Chairman of the NC House Freedom Caucus, Graduate Fellow of the NC Institute of Political Leadership, Graduate of Basic Law Enforcement Training, former Director of The Retired Enlisted Association, Chapter 92, Life Member of National Rifle Association (NRA), Founder and Former Chairman of the Coastal Carolina Taxpayers Association (CCTA), AAS in Business Management/Operations Management, Chairman of NC House Homeland Security, Military and Veterans Affairs Committee, Vice-Chairman of State and Local Government Committee, and much more!
