QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I can't think of any reasons that would justify an abortion.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.
Strongly Agree
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
The best way to bring unemployment down is to create a more business friendly Louisiana. Reforming Louisiana's budget process and methods of taxing its businesses and citizenry would be a key element. We should work towards creating a lower tax rate system that is more competitive with neighboring states. We need to fix the legal climate that is driving up the cost of doing business and making it tougher for existing industries to expand in Louisiana.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Our government should make a concerted effort to insure that Louisiana is the most business friendly place to conduct commerce. The state should make certain that its' infrastructure is sufficiently maintained so that business is able to operate its trade on our highways, seaports and airports. Reducing the 'red tape' of being in business; removing burdensome taxes and reforming the legal climate would all boost the economy and create jobs for Louisiana!
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
The best way to promote adequate healthcare is to create a Louisiana that is more attractive to employers. By creating more jobs, we move more Louisianians off of Medicaid and on to private pay insurance.
NATIONAL SECURITY
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
EDUCATION
Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.
Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.
Strongly Agree
The LGBTQ+ political agenda poses a threat to First Amendment freedoms of speech, expression and religious exercise.
Strongly Agree
I support expanding protections in employment and accommodations based on sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
Strongly Disagree
If children are given instruction in sex education in public schools, it should not express a preference for abstinence but should be comprehensive, offering discussions on various types of sexual orientations and behaviors plus all types of contraceptives.
Strongly Disagree
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The American Founders carefully defined, separated and limited these powers to prevent the tyranny of leadership. The Founders had been witness of the British government's overexertion of authority. In their wisdom, they created a government that would be led by the people with limits on the expansion of power over its citizens.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a very proud, practicing Catholic. My wife (21 years) and I have raised our 4 children to put Christ first in their lives. I believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. I believe that redemption happens through Christ. I believe that life begins at conception. I believe that the servant leader puts Christ first and places his ego at the feet of others. I believe that Christ will ultimately judge us by our willingness to love others as Christ has loved us.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
Over the last 7 years, I have served on the Iberia Republican Parish Executive Committee. For much of this tenure, i served as its chairman. Our aim was to promote conservative ideals and to recruit conservative candidates. Anything less than being, very conservative would have not allowed me to serve in this capacity.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
As a small business owner for the last 18 years, I have worked hand-in-hand with the hardworking people of Louisiana. We work with hundreds of businesses and thousands of their faithful employees, across all of the industries in South Louisiana, prepare for a better tomorrow and more fruitful retirement. My strong financial background coupled with my Masters of Business Administration (MBA) provide the educational fortitude to reform Louisiana's tax and budget systems. My commitment to being a servant leader in my community, over the last 20 years, provides evidence of my ambitions to improve the lives of others through sacrifice and hard work.
