QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
My stance is simple. I am 100% pro life. No exceptions!
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.
Strongly Agree
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Make Louisiana a business friendly state, lower taxes and create jobs. Make Louisiana an easier, less expensive place to live and work. We also need to properly develop a workforce that can meet the demands of future employers. We must also help the oil and gas industry in the state return to the level of production, employment, and national prominence we use to enjoy. We have the resources!
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Reduce taxes, make Louisiana a less lawsuit-happy state, and create jobs! Help Louisiana become the place to grow a business, grow a family, and a great place to live.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Agree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Allow for numerous healthcare companies to freely compete and drive down cost.
NATIONAL SECURITY
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
EDUCATION
Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.
Strongly Agree
The LGBTQ+ political agenda poses a threat to First Amendment freedoms of speech, expression and religious exercise.
Strongly Agree
I support expanding protections in employment and accommodations based on sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.
Strongly Disagree
If children are given instruction in sex education in public schools, it should not express a preference for abstinence but should be comprehensive, offering discussions on various types of sexual orientations and behaviors plus all types of contraceptives.
Strongly Disagree
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The history of man and sin caused our Founding Fathers to create a country driven and defined by a document which would best protect and preserve all freedoms, and create a government for and by the people that if said government followed the Constitution, gave the country its best opportunity for success and survival.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
My family and I are all Christians. We were born and raised with God first and the bible as our manual for life. We are Baptists and attend Brookwood Baptist church in Shreveport. We have family who are Catholics and Methodists and enjoy our worship time with them. Our values are God first, the United States second and family third. We believe that all people are created by God and must be respected and love as such. Despite our many differences, we all bleed the same and serve the same God. Our values and principles are driven to serve God and our fellow men and women.
