QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I have always voted "No" on all funding bills which include Planned Parenthood funding and will continue do so.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

In those cases which it is necessary to save the life of the mother it can be used as a medically necessity.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

The Constitution dictates the separation of church and state, but that does not demand the absence of decisions guided by religious beliefs.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

American interventionism has put the United States in conflict with too many groups that do not pose an existential threat to the country and makes us more enemies than friends. The United States prevents threats of terrorism better with Coca-Cola and McDonalds than military and boots on the ground. The military is a "Break in Case of Emergency" tool, not meant to remove people we don't like.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Government has no role to mandate government employees. private employers, or public schools' vaccination status. A private citizen who is immunocompromised and wants to start a small business should be allowed the freedom to vaccinate themselves and require the same of their employees as a condition of employment. A government mandate on businesses regarding vaccines require government to collect private medical records, vaccination status for all private employees, hiring decisions, wages, promotions, firings and effectively creates a new protected class of worker. In deciding between limited-government and "freedom" or large bureaucracy and "mandates", I will always choose freedom.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

E) Medicare is an entitlement program where recipients have pre-paid. Medicaid has been expanded far beyond its intent and should be reformed. Our private healthcare market requires free markets, price transparency, and the right to shop for care based on price and quality of care instead of where insurance companies dictate you go.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

The current US tax code is too long and far too complicated for most Americans to understand. It needs to be trimmed, so people understand simply where there money is going - ideally fitting on a post card.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

The USA should welcome immigrants who are immigrating here to the land of unlimited opportunity and economic freedom who wish to contribute to the economy of the United States. The number of immigrants should be dependent on the state of our economy and for specific job qualifications and when no American citizen or lawful, permanent resident will perform the duties of the job.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

Listed below are all of the restrictions I support on gun ownership: :-)

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://lea-mn.org/ https://lea-mn.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/2021-report-11-23-21-d.pdf http://ratings.conservative.org/people/bd8c8c47-9e4d-4b4d-a1c0-ff3db3378223 https://www.mnscorecard.com/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjKk_huKIl9F4985p_RMhTA https://www.facebook.com/RepresentativeJeremyMunson

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

via https://www.jeremymunson.com/issues/ “The America-First agenda starts with fighters willing to boldly lead on our values. Jeremy fought to defend our Constitution, liberties and freedoms. His courage allowed him to successfully stand up to lobbyists and special interest groups to pass legislation that was in the people’s best interest. To engage voters and help them hold their government accountable, Jeremy brought transparency to the legislative process, explained bills, and shared his reasoning for his votes on legislation.” HEALTHCARE What I Have Done: I served on the Healthcare Policy and Finance Committees in the Minnesota House of Representatives for five years. Obamacare priced my family out of the health insurance market. Lowering the cost of healthcare has always been a priority. In my first year in office, I fought corporate lobbyists to get a price transparency bill signed into law. In my second year, my legislation was signed into law exposing the kickbacks paid to corporate interests to Big Pharma. These bipartisan reforms improved access and cut costs. What I Will Do: Washington has been in the dark on healthcare for decades. It’s time we cut the political theater and make real reform that provides price transparency and increases options for patients. We also should allow the importation of prescription drugs and use basic free-market principles that have always made our country great. GUN RIGHTS What I Have Done: I have a proven track record of not just upholding, but boldly standing for our Second Amendment. I drafted a resolution that sparked the Second Amendment Sanctuary County movement, allowing commissioners to take back their rights from the federal gun grabbers. Twelve Counties have passed these resolutions in Minnesota. I authored groundbreaking legislation protecting private property rights while effectively eliminating “gun free zones.” At the State level, I have voted for “Stand Your Ground,” and “Constitutional Carry” legislation at the state level. My legislation expanding gun rights for patients even passed the Democrat-controlled house. What I Will Do: In Congress, I will never back down in pursuit of expanding gun rights. “… Shall not be infringed” is followed by a period, not an asterisk. RIGHT TO LIFE What I Have Done: Life begins when your heart starts and ends when it stops. This is why I co-authored Minnesota’s “Heartbeat Bill.” I have consistently voted to defend life and have a crystal clear 100% score with Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL). What I Will Do: I will continue to defend the rights of those who have no voice and will never vote to fund Planned Parenthood. SAFETY AND SECURITY What I Have Done: I voted against the Democrat’s disastrous bill to defund police and disarm law-abiding citizens. What I Will Do: The number one job of the federal government is to keep our citizens and our country safe. I am a strong supporter of our military and will vote to give our troops the resources to protect our country at home and abroad. We must secure our border NOW! SUPPORTING OUR VETERANS What I Have Done: I supported Veterans Courts and authored legislation protecting veterans’ 2nd Amendment rights. What I Will Do: I am thankful to live in a country that values liberty, protected by the brave men and women who served and continue to serve in our nation’s armed forces. We must mirror this same protection by supporting our active members at home and never sending them into battle without a vote of Congress. No President should have the unilateral power to send our sons and daughters overseas without accountability from the people’s house. INFLATION AND SPENDING What I Have Done: In the legislature, I have been a fiscal hawk. Every dollar the government spends, it must first take from someone else. I authored legislation to cut spending, reduce taxes, return all surpluses, and end the disastrous automatic growth of State spending. I voted against ridiculous omnibus bills which violate our Constitution. What I Will Do: I will vote against reckless spending bills which add to our nation’s debt. For 40 years, Democrats have increased spending, while Republicans have cut taxes. Instead of balancing the budget, they simply agreed to do both and borrow the difference. This is why our children are $30 trillion in debt and we have run-away inflation. TERM LIMITS What I Have Done: I am the chief author of the Minnesota term limit bill for state legislators. Our legislature in Minnesota was supposed to be one of, for, and by the people… and that starts with legislators who serve and then go home. I have also authored the Term Limits for Congress bill. If Term Limits are good enough for the president, they are good enough for Congress.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act already covers sexual orientation. Gender (male or female) is also a protected class, but someone who believes they are a gender other than the gender of their birth, should not be able to pretend they are in a protected class.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am Christian and value life, and our God-given individual rights and liberties.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I support a State requirement for Voter ID and to allow people to vote without an ID on a provisional ballot, if an ID is used to later verify the ballot before tabulation.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

End non-profit's funding of government elections (Zuckerbucks). Mandate voter ID and provisional ballots in each State. End ballot drop boxes and ballot harvesting. Count only US citizens for census/redistricting so that citizens of foreign countries cannot influence our elections/redistricting/electoral college.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. The media, which fuels racial division in the least racist country in the world, is a larger threat to domestic security than racism.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

I support energy exploration and extraction and will always support private property rights, and an individual's right to seek damages from a neighbor who causes harm or devaluation to one's property.

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A. Environmental regulations which shipped manufacturing jobs over seas to countries which lack environmental protections is simply shifting the environmental burden to developing nations. We must assess the environmental impact of the entire supply chain of products - and apply American ingenuity and common sense to bring back these jobs and secure our supply chain.
