No Answer
Socialism provides a robust foundation for a stable economy.
No Answer
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Deregulate, open the markets by allowing more competition, and government needs to get out of the way so people can create, innovate and live freely.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
The government's powers are limited by the Constitution, and no where within the Constitution does it mention the role to boost the economy. The government needs to stop trying to control and manipulate markets, and picking the winners and loosers via regulation and corporate handouts. It is this involvement that has hurt our economy. We must depend on the courts to arbitrate grievances where people or other businesses have been hurt by corporations, rather than policing the "what ifs."
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or business owners because of their deeply held religious beliefs.
No Answer
Governments should not penalize those who define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
Mankind has an inherent need for power. When all of the powers and decision making authority is given to one individual over a group of people and their life, liberties and property, that absolute power intoxicates them. Even in our system of separate powers we have men and women who fall prey to this power, but the system of checks and balances brings with it a degree of accountability and transparency that is necessary in a free society.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
We are all created by an awesome and amazing Creator who asks us to love each other as our self. All of our actions should be guided by love, as the greatest commandment to love the Lord is reflected in how we treat others, and that leads to what Jesus said was the second greatest command - to love our neighbor as our self. The manner in which we show love to each other in all we do is how we also are treating the Creator. And so, even though I might fail at times because I am human, I strive to keep love for everyone as the standard to which I respond to governance, leadership, community involvement, being a neighbor and business owner, and the various roles I play in my family environment.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
Every elected official started out at some point without having been an elected official, and they learned the process along the way as they navigated the duties of their office. Even my opponent had such an experience having never been in government before he took office in 1999. My experiences as a business owner, political activist, motivational speaker, mother and wife have all contributed to my development of character, wisdom and knowledge. I have a proven track record in these capacities of demanding transparency and being able to bridge the gap between dissenting parties - helping people to see that we all have the same end goal in mind; yet, we just disagree how to get there. I am ready to take these skills to the state capitol and do the work of the people, not any organization, lobbyist group, or political party.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
My promise is this: I will fight for the rights of the people of Mississippi and uphold my oath to the Constitutions of the United States of America and Mississippi. My votes and actions will work to restore those rights where they have been infringed via statutes and legislation, and fight against those pieces of legislation that would take those rights away.
