QUESTIONNAIRE*

*Additional information was received after the evaluation was assigned and was not considered in the Panel Evaluations, therefore it is for additional educational purposes only.
RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I am 100% Right To Life

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Need to lower our states sales tax/

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Eliminate NGO’s / re-assess tax exemptions and credits

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

I do support TOPS as long as the state has the funding to support it. A TOPS scholarship is earned not freely given and comes with a set of standards a student must meet to receive it. Also the TOPS scholarship is one of the few programs that the middle class can receive.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Our constitution protects our freedom to worship/ this right should never be infringed upon.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

The Medicaid system needs to be totally overhauled in order to eliminate programs that do not produce the desired results promised and replace with programs that do. By eliminating failed policies/ programs we can save critical dollars that can be allocated to those programs that provide real results for our disabled community and vulnerable citizens. It is each taxpayers responsibility to provide their family with healthcare insurance first and foremost/ But in order to insure children have access to healthcare when the parents are unable to do so, Medicaid should be made available.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I do not support mandated vaccines. Currently parents can apply for an exemption on medical or religious grounds concerning public schools. I am not anti-vaccinations / but I am pro-Liberty. Our US constitution / 14th Amendment provides each citizen protection from forced medical treatment/ procedures.

NATIONAL SECURITY

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Any immigrant/ after first being vetted, should be able to apply to legally enter our Country. America is made up of immigrants from all over the world who seek freedom and to aspire to achieve the American Dream- The Statue of Liberty states- Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Christian who lives my life according to the truths declared in God’s Word-

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

In order to strengthen LA election integrity laws, we need to streamline the process for updating our voter vault.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

I do not believe racism threatens our domestic security in todays times. Anyone regardless of race/ creed/ color has the freedom / support/ constitutional protections to achieve their desired goals.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To establish Justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our prosperity.

NO

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I have also co-authored the Constitutional Carry proposal and staunchly protect and defend our 2nd amendment/ and all of our constitutionally protected freedoms and liberties. I have never placed to demands of government over the desires of the citizens I serve. I have never voted to raise taxes or missed one day of serving in the legislature upon taking office in 2016. I have never once compromised on my Districts core beliefs or sold our soul for any reason, even when under immense pressure to do so. I support and defend our Qualified immunity laws on behalf of police and fire fighters. I support a limited government/ support cutting red-tape/ deregulations that stifle business growth. I advocate/ passed legislation that enhances our disabled community lives/ strong supporter for our veterans and educators. I am the Voice of those who I serve and is an honor to do so. I will work with my colleagues to pass laws that will address our states High auto/ homeowners/ commercial insurance rates. Must work with our next Governor and all stakeholders in order to reduce crime. Must invest in juvenile detention facilities that provide educational / mental healthcare in order to reform these children and to give them a hope and a future. Must pass business friendly legislation that takes government out of the way so private businesses can grow and thrive. Must continue to invest in early childhood.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
