QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Did not answer
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Disagree
I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.
Did not answer
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Did not answer
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Neutral
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Our constitution requires a balanced budget so we make that happen every year. I would cut private prisons without a doubt. They cost the state millions every year and every year they get more expensive.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.
Strongly Disagree
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Disagree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Disagree
I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.
Yes
What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
It means religion shall not mingle with the responsibilities, rules and laws of the state. Churches should preach to their flock. Period.
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Agree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Through proper management of Medicaid Expansion. The Governor has said he’s considering outsourcing that management to other states. Not acceptable. Management of the Expansion should be kept in Oklahoma and should be fully transparent as it answers to the people of Oklahoma.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Agree
IMMIGRATION
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Disagree
State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.
Disagree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
From the Statue of Liberty “A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame... Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
EDUCATION
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Neutral
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
No Answer
I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Agree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Moderate
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
I’m strongly pro-business. I believe that small businesses are the backbone of our economy. It’s imperative that we recruit other businesses to Oklahoma. The primary issue keeping new businesses away from Oklahoma is our poor education system. The decision makers see our education system and understand workers won’t want to move their families and put down roots if their children will get a sub-par education. We can’t keep our own graduates here because, much like our educators, they can make a substantially higher income and higher quality of life by crossing just one state line. We must make substantial improvements to education in order to build our economy.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
25 years as a journalist. My job was to keep up to date with State issues and to inform the public. It also made me familiar with state agencies and boards so when I need expert input I know who to call. Being raised in a military family and living all over the country and world gives me insight into how other states and countries approach issues. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 30 years as an active community member and raised my 3 children here. I’ve been the State Representative for District 71 since 2018, when I won in a landslide.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I am dedicated to District 71 and all Oklahomans. As a Representative I am in constant contact with my constituents. They have all of my contact information and I encourage them to call me if they have an issue or need help. My office has helped hundreds of people, both in and out of District 71, with their Oklahoma Employment Security Commission needs, since the beginning of the pandemic. I’ve authored or co-authored almost 50 bills. Work with Republicans in bipartisan relationships. I serve on the following committees: Goverment Efficiency, A&B Public Safety, Rural and Agriculture, and Non-Appropriated Agencies. I’m also the Legislative Liason to multiple state boards including: Board of Medical Licensure, Veterinary Board and the Board of Cosmetology & Barbering among others.
JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY
I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.
Strongly Disagree
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

2ND AMENDMENT
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
No
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I’m a proud member of Mom’s Demand Action/Every Town for Gun Safety.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Disagree
I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.
Agree
The Electoral College should be abolished.
Agree
In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?
Raises for educators and more revenue for education More support for small businesses Sentencing reform
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes! This country was built on the backs of slaves kidnapped from their home countries and treated as subhuman. When they were “freed”, the white world around them still treated them as sub-human and taught their children the same hate, disdain and non-respect. This transference of racism has gone on for generations. Some of the inherent racism is more subtle and possibly unconscious in some areas. Other racists are bold and proud of their hate. But these Americans of color are DONE. They are rising up demanding systemic change and until those changes are made and we can close the book on racism, the unrest will continue to disrupt the status quo of “Domestic Security”. What do you think Domestic Security looks like for citizens of color?
