OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I support a complete end of abortion. When it is necessary to save the life of a mother or her baby we should permit premature delivery or treatment of an ectopic pregnancy which cannot result in the birth of a live child. Doctors should do everything in their power to respect the life of both the unborn baby and his or her mother, giving equal consideration to each.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Foreign aid. We have so many needs in this country I believe we need to attend to America first. Waste, fraud and abuse of entitlement programs should also be cut by partnering with private sector expertise to ensure that every tax dollar is accounted for and Oklahoma has a strong fiscal future.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

No Answer

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Means that no church will control the government AND no government will control the church. It does not mean a church can not discuss politics or government within their congregation and church walls nor does it mean our politicians can not say a prayer when gathered to do the work of our government asking for The Lord's direction and guidance.

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Through years of experience serving the voters & fighting OKC socialist, I’ve developed a detailed plan of action to ensure that all of Oklahoma (not just OKC/Tulsa) has access to the healthcare. 1st, I work with local hospital administrators to get our healthcare providers the support they need. 2nd, I continue partnering with our federal delegation to support President Trump’s push to fend off political regulations by the federal gov’t. I have supported the President’s plan to allow healthcare plans to be sold across state lines & sponsored the Patient’s Right to Pharmacy Act which preserves a patient’s right to choose their pharmacy providers. Price transparency & medical choices free from undue government intrusion/price gauging will help ensure our access to affordable prescriptions & healthcare. 3rd, recognizing the burden that drug abuse places on our E.R.s & hospitals, I will keep fighting to get illicit substance off our streets.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone properly vetted, bringing a means of support for them and their family and coming into this country legally and through the proper channels should be given an opportunity to relocate.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As a Christian lawmaker, I believe that I must act accountably and that I will be held to answer to both my voters and my divine creator. It is my duty to serve as a watchman on the wall, to vigilantly build the foundations of our state’s laws on the rock steady foundation of God’s biblical principles, and to faithfully carry out the will of God on earth by serving his people. I believe that God put me in the Senate for a reason and that he will help me to exercise this privilege in a way that best serves his children in Oklahoma.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I’m not one to speak about myself—my conservative leadership/record say enough. Both are documented: https://oksenate.gov/senators/larry-boggs. Some examples of my leadership: I sponsored The Unborn Person Equality Act & SB1728 which protect babies/mothers from abortionists. I also co-authored SB 1552 to abolish abortion. I sponsored SR8 urging Congress to take action in defense of persecuted Christians & HB 3967 to recognize Israel as a trade ally. I lead the charge on SB 1352 to get the constitution back into higher ed. I was an active sponsor of SJR16 to expand gun rights. I actively pushed for SB 1674--authorizing certain trained educators to bear arms. In 2016, I was endorsed by the NRA. To preserve constitutional integrity in our elections I sponsored SB 210 helping to address ballot access issues related to COVID-19 while requiring absentee voters to include copies of their identification with their ballots. I also sponsored SB 17.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I’m not a politician. Like our President, my background is in business. I’m a combat veteran, oilman, contractor & a self-employed rancher with over 40 years of experience running my own company. I understand the importance of a balanced budget and I know how to maintain a positive cash flow. Our businesses don’t have an endless checkbook, and neither should the government. As a veteran I know what it means to serve. In Vietnam I learned never to let any man get left behind and always to go above and beyond the call of duty. That’s why I played such an active role in constructing a comprehensive budget for the Fiscal Year 2021. (Some people said it couldn’t be done given the $1.3 billion dollar shortfall projected as a result of COVID-19). As a rancher from cattle-country, I also understand the importance of agriculture to our state’s economy and have earned a 100% rating from the Oklahoma Farm Bureau. One of my chief priorities is to push to strengthen “farm-to-table” opportunities.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Our country was built on the biblical principles of limited government, individual responsibility and personal freedom. I seek God’s guidance in serving the people of Oklahoma daily and nightly, and ask all Oklahoman’s to pray for god’s continued hand of guidance to be upon me. With regard to question four: I believe marriage is between one man and one woman. I also think that it’s a biblical sacrament that should not be regulated or licensed by the secular government. I have also enjoyed the privilege of serving our veterans as the Oklahoma Veteran’s Council “Veteran of the Year,” and a current member of the Senate Veterans Caucus.

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. I'm a strong supporter of our 2nd Amendment and restrictions on gun ownership is adverse to our constitutional rights.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

1st, protecting our constitution through judicial reform. Unelected judges trouncing our state and federal constitution to legislate their socialist agendas from the bench has got to stop, especially on abortion. Oklahoma's God’s country, we shouldn’t have the most liberal Supreme Court in the country, but because of the JNC that’s exactly what we’ve had to put up with. Enough is enough 2nd, since my district is largely cattle country I would propose allowing and strengthening our "farm to table" opportunities. I think the recent upheaval of Covid 19 has further convinced America and Oklahoma we need to rely on ourselves and not other countries that may not have our best interest at heart. Third, I would like to see Oklahoma remove sales tax on groceries and food items. Food is a necessity not a luxury and our food prices are sky rocketing. Our families and our senior citizens are straining to put wholesome food on the table and government should not be adding to that bu

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is a threat to society, not necessarily domestic security. In this country we have laws and those laws need to be honored and upheld. Too many times the "racism card" is called when in reality it's not racism at all. All are created equal. If you live in this country or come to this country our laws prevail, not your's and not mine. If, as a country, we will stand on the laws laid out in our constitution and bill of rights we can solve many problems. It's when you have special interest groups or justices obscuring those laws that we get into trouble. We the people decide. We the people control. We the people have to stand for what's right.
