OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

There is no circumstance where abortion should be allowed. Every life is a gift from God.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants and Medicaid funding).

Strongly Agree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

The tax code, as it is written, cannot be understood by the average citizen. It should be in a format that is easy to interpret, and not benefit the government over the people.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Any spending that is considered excessive and unnecessary, and does not benefit the people of Mississippi.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

The government has no right to get involved in a person's religious and moral beliefs.

Under what circumstances should government close churches?

Under no circumstances should the government interfere with a church family's right to assemble and worship. The church leadership should have the freedom and authority to make the decision that best suits their congregation.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare? A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare options (includes "universal healthcare," "Medicare for all," etc.); B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options; C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but the government should reform healthcare to maximize private health insurance options; D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Healthcare should be available to every citizen, but it should not rest entirely on the government to provide that health care.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None. Vaccinations should be a parent's choice for their children and the choice of the adult in the workplace.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The first thing to eradicate terrorism is to close the border to protect the Homefront. Islamic terrorism has been an issue for many years. Our military should be the strongest in the world, with all the necessary resources to stop this terrorism at its inception and prevent it from reaching our borders.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The open border has allowed terrorists, violent gang members, human traffickers, and drug dealers to walk freely into our country unchecked. Every state has now become a border state, with the possibility of being overrun by these individuals. There should be a wall and an extensive process taken to enter this country. There is nothing wrong with coming to the US to have a better life, after all that is why we are all here, but there needs to be a process to properly vet these individuals.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone who wishes to come into our country to make a better life for their family should be allowed to enter but should only enter through the proper channels of immigration and not be allowed to freely walk across the border.

EDUCATION

The state should prioritize education funding by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of focusing on programs and administrators.

Neutral

There are many issues, that need to be addressed, with the education funding in our state. A modification of the testing system and the A-F grading scale of our schools should be a top priority in the next session.

If you support giving parents more educational options, please list all of the following options that apply and in priority order: A) A universal Education Savings Account (ESA) program; B) An ESA program for low-income children only; C) Expanding tax credits for businesses to give to private schools; D) Expanding public charter schools; E) Allowing homeschoolers to take classes at the local public school.

Parents should have options for their children's education, but a deeper discussion on those options needs to take place.

What most closely matches your view on pornography? A) I agree with the American Library Association that any person of any age should have access to any book; B) Library collections, displays and events should be curated using age-appropriate guidelines, similar to what we do for movies (G, PG, R, etc.); C) Mississippi libraries should follow state laws that prevent pornography from being accessible to minors.

C) - pornography is a billion-dollar industry and our children are being brainwashed into thinking it is ok to view this filth at any stage of life. This is not something that should be available in any school in Mississippi.

VALUES

What most closely matches your view on marriage? A) Anything goes; B) Marriage between one man and one woman should be promoted and encouraged; C) A divorce should be hard to get; D) Marriage is important, but no-fault divorce should be allowed.

B) - Marriage was established by God for one man and one woman.

Judeo-Christian values establish a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

This country was founded on Christian values to respond to a tyrannical government. Our Christian values are what should guide us in our daily lives, both personal and political.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Gender identity is assigned by God. We have no right in teaching children any conflicting studies on this subject.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Marriage was established by God for one man and one woman.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

God is Almighty. My goal in life should be to glorify him in all that I do. Place him first in our lives and use his word as a guide to lead us in the right direction.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Election integrity is extremely important in our day and time. Every person should have a photo ID to vote. It is a requirement for so many other things in our day to day lives.

What most closely matches your view on ballot measures? A) Ballot measures should be able to amend the constitution with few, if any, restrictions; B) Ballot measures should only be able to propose changes to laws when signatures are collected from people all across the state; C) The current process of allowing the Legislature to propose constitutional amendments will result in the best outcomes.

B

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is a problem that can be repaired through our faith-based organizations, and getting back to the principle of Love God, Love People.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A)- Stricter laws will hurt the economy, cause people to lose jobs, and will not directly benefit the environment.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To serve the people first and represent those who elect us to serve.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

N/A

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I will represent the people with integrity and stand on the right side of the moral and social issues destroying our country today. I will stand in the fight with the people of Mississippi to stop the decay from Washington trickling down to the states.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

Our police officers should have the full authority to carry out the necessary expectations of their jobs. They are the first ones to run into danger while most of us are running away. They are scrutinized too much by being portrayed in a negative fashion just for doing their jobs.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

There are plenty of other areas from which to redirect funds. Our law enforcement funding should never be considered for this.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

No restrictions on gun ownership. The 2nd amendment is there for a reason, and that is to stop a tyrannical government from infringing on our rights to own any firearm, whether for collecting, hunting or for home defense. The public is safer when law abiding citizens are allowed to protect themselves by owning a firearm.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

The gun manufacturer did not cause the issue that happened. The individual or individuals, that caused the violence is responsible.
