OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Abortion should be allowed only if it is medically necessary to save the life of the mother, and every effort should be made to safely deliver the baby as well.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.

Strongly Agree

Socialism provides a robust foundation for a stable economy.

Strongly Disagree

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Government should stop paying able-bodied workers to stay home, but should require that unemployment benefits continue only if the beneficiaries are actively applying for and willing to accept a job. In addition, government can make it easier for businesses to stay open, and thus employ workers, by avoiding unnecessary and burdensome fees, licenses, and regulations.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

An across-the-board reduction in taxes for individuals and businesses would result in more money for spending on goods and services, and would help to boost the economy. Fewer regulations on businesses would make it easier for them to hire more, as well as be more productive and profitable.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or business owners because of their deeply held religious beliefs.

Strongly Agree

Governments should not penalize those who define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Strongly Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

A government that guarantees 100% healthcare for everyone is socialism. A capitalist economy allows the free market, in this case insurance companies, to compete in the open market for the business of customers. Experience has shown that the so-called "Affordable Care Act" was neither fair nor was it affordable.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

I support sanctuary cities.

Strongly Disagree

EDUCATION

Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

Any teaching to children on sex education in public schools must include all contraceptive methods, and should not show preference to abstinence.

Strongly Disagree

People should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on "gender identity."

Strongly Disagree

Free speech is under attack on public university and college campuses.

Strongly Agree

Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.

Strongly Agree

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The Founders understood the fallen nature of mankind, the propensity for self and for evil. They designed limited powers and checks and balances to protect America from the inborn nature of mankind.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe the Bible to be God's Holy Word. I believe Jesus Christ came to Earth through the Virgin Mary, for the purpose of paying the penalty for the sins of mankind. We cannot earn salvation, but must accept the free gift from God's Holy Son, Jesus Christ. As Christians, we are to live a life of obedience to the Word of God and to fulfill Christ's command to be His witnesses to the lost.
