QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
There is never a situation in ethical practice of medicine or in the law where an unborn child’s life needs to be intentionally terminated.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree

Strongly Agree
Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.
Strongly Agree
Socialism provides a robust foundation for a stable economy.
Strongly Disagree
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Cut Taxes, Eliminate Needless Regulations. The better the economy the lower unemployment will be. Government at all levels should seek to eliminate laws and regulations that stifle growth. Also there should be work requirements for all able bodied citizens and government assistance should be limited to the elderly and disabled.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Continue to cut taxes and lower interest rates. Work towards a tariff free global trade Eliminate all taxes and move to a Fair tax system.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or business owners because of their deeply held religious beliefs.
Strongly Agree
Governments should not penalize those who define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.
Strongly Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
The United States should move to a consumer-directed healthcare system with payments made from tax free Healthcare Savings Accounts. This would promote better transparency in regards to costs in the healthcare industry. This would also cut costs tremendously on the business community and give them the option to match funds being deposited into HSA's by their employees and have that money be tax free as well.
NATIONAL SECURITY
I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.
Strongly Agree
I support sanctuary cities.
Strongly Disagree
Islamic law (Sharia) should take precedence over national and state laws where there are Islamic majority communities in the U. S.
Strongly Disagree
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

EDUCATION
Tuition-free public education should be guaranteed through college.

VALUES
Biblical values established a framework of morality which permitted our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
Any teaching to children on sex education in public schools must include all contraceptive methods, and should not show preference to abstinence.
Strongly Disagree
People should be allowed to use public restrooms, showers, and changing rooms based on "gender identity."
Strongly Disagree
Free speech is under attack on public university and college campuses.
Strongly Agree
Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.
Strongly Agree
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
I believe James Madison said it best in Federalist 51 "It may be a reflection on human nature, that such devices should be necessary to control the abuses of government. But what is government itself, but the greatest of all reflections on human nature? If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary."
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe that God created the Heaven's and the earth and that He sent His only begotten Son Jesus to earth to become the unblemished Lamb of God who alone was worthy as a sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. I believe in the death, burial and resurrection of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that the Bible is the infallible word of God.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I ran for office in 2015 and the promises that I made when I ran I have kept as evidenced by my voting record. I stand for and with the people in District 7 and their best interest is my primary focus. I am a proven conservative, not a politician. I am a citizen legislator who understands what it means to live paycheck to paycheck and the importance of the principles of Liberty to ensure that the freedom's of our citizens are protected over ever encroaching government entities.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
Raising taxes is by it's nature a very unsound practice. Greed takes over once taxes are raised and the best interest of the people forgotten. There first resort in finding needed money is to cut unnecessary government and there is always plenty to cut as there is no such thing as a government at any level that is 100% efficient. I have a proven track record of fighting for the people of Mississippi and not for special interests. Using the American Conservative Union's scorecards and the Americans for Prosperity scorecards I have the highest Conservative score of any legislator in the State of Mississippi.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support the death penalty.
Strongly Agree
Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
More restrictive gun control is needed to protect public safety.
Strongly Disagree
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
