QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.
Strongly Agree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.
Strongly Agree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Never, not even rape and incest. A woman who is raped is subject to a traumatic, violent, life changing event. A woman who is undergoes an abortion has the experience. Why would you want to double the trauma of the victim? Having the baby is a victory over the rapist and helps in the healing.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Disagree
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Congress should pass a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.
Strongly Agree
Socialism provides a robust foundation for a stable economy.
Strongly Disagree
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Free enterprise is the best way of achieving low unemployment. Less government regulation, including taxation, allows businesses to flourish and thrive, Growing businesses hire more people. Innovation inspires entrepreneurship which in turn grows the economy.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Government should provide the necessary infrastructure for economic development. Successful businesses generate tax growth and wealth which then benefit our governing system and help repay the investment. Too much regulation can stifle business so it is a delicate balance.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or business owners because of their deeply held religious beliefs.
Strongly Agree
Governments should not penalize those who define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
HEALTHCARE
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.
Disagree
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Business leaders, including insurance executives, need to sit down with elected government leaders and work on reigning in medical costs. We need to devise a comprehensive plan to reduce costs. Lower admin fees, lower drug prices, allowing consumers to shop for insurance providers and transparent pricing are some of the areas to be reviewed.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Free speech is under attack on public university and college campuses.
Strongly Agree
Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.
Strongly Agree
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
It is the nature on one person or group to abuse power or act arbitrarily if it is concentrated in their hands. With the checks and balances of our co-equal branches of government there is protection from our civil liberties being overrun and trampled by an absolute authority.
