HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has health insurance.

Neutral

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

This is a Complicated question that requires an understanding of all aspects of healthcare. Health Insurance companies are under strict Federal Guidelines (like MLR's)that affect premium cost. There are few regulations for Drug Cost which constitutes over 25% of Insurance Premium cost. Health Care Providers do not think they are paid enough for Medicaid and Medicare so they want more from private insurance. The following will help:1.repeal and/or modify the ACA- Patient Protection Affordable Care Act. 2.Recruit more Health Insurance companies to market affordable insurance. 3.Control prescription Drug Cost by revising PBM's- so consumers get the lowest prices for drugs. 4. Continue to vigorously enforce the balance billing state law to protect consumers (more enforcement power is needed). 5. More preventive care facilities and Education 6.Revise state laws to maintain rural healthcare and access to critical care facilities.7. Prevent abuse of Medicare access by Hospitals.

NATIONAL SECURITY

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Agree

VALUES

Disagree

Agree

Free speech is under attack on public university and college campuses.

Agree

Parents should be the primary authority in decisions affecting their minor children.

Agree

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

In order to prevent tyranny and create a Republic, a balance of power was created that prevented overreach by a federal government and which still gave states protected rights to govern. The founders did not want a King, but a Republic ruled by free people.
