OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds or grants from federal, state, or local governments.

Strongly Agree

I support the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health care providers to provide life-saving treatment for infants who survive an attempted abortion.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only if the life of the mother is at risk.

ECONOMY

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.

Strongly Disagree

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Planned "Parenthood" should not be funded with our tax dollars. If the left believes in it, they should support it as the right has to fund their pro-life clinics. I would like to see an incentive program for state employees to find and reduce wasteful spending. I would also like to see a streamlining of services to reduce redundancy. I'm sure there are more areas that will be streamlined but as a freshman legislator, I am fairly sure I would not be a part of the budget negotiating team.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

Strongly Agree

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I promise to protect the freedom of Christians to share the Gospel and to practice Biblical principles.

Yes

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state is a phrase from a letter from Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists stating that there should be a wall of separation so that the federal government does not interfere with the state's rights or the right of citizens to practice their religion. What it is not is the idea that we cannot talk about religion or religious people cannot serve in government. Our whole republic was established on Judeo-Christian values and as John Adams said, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

HEALTHCARE

It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has health insurance.

Disagree

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Get the government out of it and allow for competition such as buying across state lines and Health Savings Accounts. I also believe there should be transparency in healthcare pricing and informed consent.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.

Strongly Agree

IMMIGRATION

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Agree

State and federal funds should be denied to any public or private entity, including but not limited to sanctuary cities, that are not in compliance with immigration laws.

Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Vetted immigrants who come through our system legally including refugees with the most at risk for violence should have priority. We cannot let the whole world come to America but we can work to help foster conditions that allow people to stay in their own countries. I support legal immigration but I also believe in national sovereignty and security. We cannot sacrifice our security to let those in who cannot be vetted properly. There are those who mean to do America harm and we must protect our citizens.

EDUCATION

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

I support adding sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression as protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe we are all sinners and are saved by God's grace. I believe in the trinity and that Jesus will return again. Until then, we are to occupy until He returns. I believe is is God's will that no one should perish and that we are to preach the gospel to everyone. Having said that, I also believe that it is the right of everyone to believe how they want or not at all. These rights are guaranteed under our 1st Amendment.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

Although I am very conservative, I know that not everyone is. I do listen to other opinions and have worked with people of all political ideologies and of all faiths on issues. I try to treat everyone with respect and judge people based on the content of their character. I also believe that the government should stay out of a lot of personal decisions where the life of others is not at risk. People should be free to make their own decisions as to what they eat, drink and otherwise take into their own bodies.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have been a citizen activist for 12 years, getting laws introduced and passed that protect citizens equally in court and prohibit the establishment of foreign or theocratic courts in WA State as well as protecting vulnerable girls, consumers with transparency in food labeling, parental rights to know what is being taught to their children and a few other bills. The Female Genital Mutilation bill I worked on for 4 years here in WA State was passed unanimously in Michigan (via a legislator friend of mine who asked me for the bills) after doctors were caught doing the procedure to little girls

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I will listen to constituents and do not pretend to have all the answers. I will engage the people of the 33rd District to find answers for our challenges. I am for law and order but the laws must be just and applied equally to all. I am against mandatory vaccinations and am the bereaved mother of a preemie who was killed by an overdose of vaccines the hospital gave her without my knowledge or consent. I believe that you are parents of your children - not the state. If you choose to vaccinate, it should be your choice. Children are not "one size fits all" and shouldn't be treated that way. I hope to earn your vote and support. Please call me if you want to talk about anything. 253-951-3721

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

I support the use of Sharia law as a basis for legislation and judicial decisions in the United States.

Strongly Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Mandatory minimum sentencing should be required and enforced for violent crimes.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I am a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. It isn't the law abiding gun owner committing the crimes. As a survivor of domestic violence, I believe that restricting gun ownership puts women at risk. The problem is not guns, people who want to commit crimes will find a way whether via gun, baseball bat or their hands, the problem is a society that diminishes the value of life, respect for others and the ability to cope. Strong families and supportive communities are a better answer.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

I support the legalization of recreational marijuana.

Neutral

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Strongly Disagree

In priority order, what three areas of legislation do you propose to author or sponsor if elected?

Tax relief for small business and families while staying within the budget and cutting fraud, waste and abuse Parental rights Educational solutions that work for all individual students including funding that follows the student.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

The reactions to the perception of racism to the actual cases of racism threaten our domestic tranquility when people decide to take justice into their own hands without due process. We cannot legislate the hearts of mankind but we can encourage programs and education to help alleviate the pain of our past. One thing is for sure, there are those who are using racism to stoke unrest and violence not to solve it but to destroy America to remake us in the dystopian nirvana they believe Marxism, Socialism, and Communism will bring. We need healing not wallowing in the pain of the past we cannot change. We need to look forward and judge people on the content of their character.
