Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
only if two physicians determine that both the mother and the child will die absent an abortion ... EXTREMELY rare
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Extreme vetting. All who go through our legal immigration process are welcome in the US as long as they want to be part of our great country ... and are not coming here to change our country. Although we are not called to be the World Police, we are called to protect freedom. So yes, we must fight in foreign lands to protect the rights of those where radical Islamic terrorism threatens them.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
We are born with a selfish nature. the separation of powers protects all of us from any leader or group of leaders who gain control of one branch of government.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian who lives for an audience of One. I fail often. My wife (of 45 years) and I are pro-Life and live what we believe ... we have two adopted children.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative

Florida House of Representatives voting record
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Direct Primary Care combined with Comprehensive/Catastrophic Care (high deductible) policies, enhanced HSAs, make short term and limited benefit policies available, allow purchase of insurance policies across state lines and pharmaceuticals from outside our country, deduct premiums on individual tax returns, allow association grouping for cost reduction, create high risk pool for the top 5% of cost drivers, tort reform
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
level the playing field so there are no winners and losers based upon regulations ... and get out off the way
What changes should be made to the tax code?
Eliminate the income tax and go with the FAIR Tax.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
require all able bodied people to work for their unemployment benefits; limit benefits paid to parents to the amount paid for the first child and then do not pay any more for additional children
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
For individuals under 40, gradually increase the age to receive full benefits to 70 (just as it was recently increased to 67) and increase the max income on which social security taxes are paid. Put social security funds into the proverbial lock box and keep the income/interest earned in the pool.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
former Captain USAF, small business owner, Mayor of Ormond Beach and State Representative
