Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

As our laws currently allow. Anything else is an attack on women's healthcare.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

The founders understood that absolute power corrupts absolutely and designed our constitution in a way to protect our citizens in case our leaders fell into the trappings of power.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I have read the Bible three times in my life and consider myself a Christian, which is why I have dedicated my political life to fighting for the underprivileged and working-class segments of our population as I do not recall Jesus being in favor of business deregulation and tax cuts for the wealthy. He was the original Social Justice Warrior, and I am to follow in his footsteps as best as I can.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

No Answer

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I do not pick my politics like my favorite ball teams. I am conservative in some areas (civil liberties, gun rights, etc) and liberal in others. Opponents are free to call me what they want as long as they acknowledge I am fighting for the underdogs of America.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Creating a jobs guarantee at a state level, allowing anyone willing to work 40 hours a week access to a job that pays a living wage with benefits.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

By removing private insurance profiteers from the equation and bringing about a public option for healthcare. Nobody pays more for healthcare and receives less than an American. We must strive for universal healthcare like it's found in every other developed nation in the world.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Ensuring everybody has healthcare, living wages, and making sure tax dollars are spent in ways that invest int he future of our economy (schools, roads, childcare services, etc).

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I am of the working class and for the working class. Unlike most politicians, I have lived in the real world my entire life and know what it's like to struggle. It's what forged me into the man I am today. And though no fancy degrees hang on my walls, what I bring to the table is a sharp determination in putting workers and their families first and empathy towards the everyday problems they face.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

Folks may not agree with all my positions, which is fine. I am the first politician for which I will vote that I agree with every policy position. But I have lived in Republican-heavy areas most of my life and have worked along side plenty of people of different political stripes. Though I have beliefs, I am dedicated with working across the aisle to deliver results to working Ohio families. I am also the only candidate in this race who has anything to say about the ECOT scandal and opioid epidemic.
