Never. The baby has a right to live in all arguments.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The United States Constitution states 'we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". I also strongly believe that Congress should create laws, the President should only enforce the laws, and the Judiciary should only interpret the laws.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in Jesus Christ. I have been an active member of my current church for the past 25 years. I am currently an elder, but I have also assisted the church as the treasurer, money counter, usher, communion assistant, etc. My parents and I attended church throughout my childhood. My children all attend church on a regular basis. I believe many churches have been ignored by their local elected leader and are an untapped resource to help and make a community stronger. Elected leaders need to reach out to congregations to help with issues such as: addiction, depression, divorce, suicide, hunger, homelessness, grief, bullying, and many other issues. Churches and non-profits can help so many with so little money. Their volunteers are often unrecognized.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
There are many different approaches that can be taken to reduce unemployment. Considering the current economic climate,I would focus on long-term private sector solutions. Higher paying jobs could be created by working with businesses and schools to create curriculum that prepares students for careers right out of high school. Reaching out to businesses and helping them partner with local school to create these programs would be a long-term solution to unemployment and low wages.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
I would privatize healthcare and reduce mandates to lower the cost and increase competition among health care providers. A government backed healthcare program can be created for citizens who do not qualify for private healthcare. The doctor and patient should always have final say in healthcare decisions. Also, special pricing should be eliminated among government, insurance providers, and healthcare institutions. The cost of health services should be provided prior to treatment and the same price for everyone. Just by disclosing pricing, many unnecessary services would be eliminated.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Eliminate Bureaucracy. Reduce regulations, lower taxes, and oversight (government agencies). Often businesses are under the umbrella of numerous government agencies. This creates unneeded expense for businesses. Make it easier to open a business, hire new employees, and expand. Find ways to not spend tax dollars that encourage growth, such as: businesses working together, partnering on new ventures, and research and development. Government should encourage and assistance businesses to grow and expand, not regulate them out of business.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I currently service as Vice President Eastlake City Council. I am a member of the Finance, WPPC, and ECDC committees. I started the Vine Street Corridor Businesses Owners Group and Banquet Facilities/Congregation Group in 2017. These group have conducted numerous outreach events, fundraised for many charities, brought leaders from 3 cities together for street improvement, created a business website, and they have been instrumental in bringing new businesses to the area. I hold a PhD in Business & Technology and an MBA in Business.

I believe we can improve our communities by working together (businesses, non-profits, churches, high schools/colleges, local residents, and local/county/state governments). This approach is a win/win for everyone and the community.
