Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Whenever a woman, her Doctor and her God decide what is best for her and society. Infanticide was common in the time of Jesus and he never said anything about it. He did talk about bringing about a just society where we all understood that people are people and that we should not use authority to rule over them maliciously. Bearing false witness to our children about sex, especially in light of the fact that the Forbidden Fruit of Genesis 3 is about sex has lead to abortion. The clergy needs to be honest about the Bible and its interpretation so we can educate society about other options to avoid un wanted pregnancy.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?

Discontinue our presence in the Middle East as much as possible and remove any backing to the State of Israel until they agree to a two state solution with the Palestinians. We, the USA, should never supply support to regimes that base their governance on religious texts. The USA financed 911 by paying the Taliban 22 million dollars in April of 2001 because they reportedly destroyed their poppy crop. We need to understand that certain regimes that base their beliefs based on the misguided interpretation of of a religious text that is used to manipulate uneducated people. The USA should not deal with those kinds of nations no matter the goal.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

They understood the power of mobs with radical beliefs, so they set forth restrictions that would prevent the takeover of the US Government by a demigod without the check by Congress. Unfortunately the Founders did not realize that Corporations would purchase Congress and the Free Press, which has degraded our Freedoms. In addition Madison thought, when he wrote Federalist 10, that the Religious Factions would continue to bicker and not vote as a block. He was wrong, unfortunately.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Prayer, study and observation of the human condition form my beliefs in the Bible. My thoughts on the Bible have been honed by public education and the idea that the text is written as an allegory for life. I also believe that Christians do not re look at the text as Revelation indicates that God will reveal his intent as the end is approached. With this in mind I have reinterpreted the Bible to make more sense. Gen 1:25-29 gives us Dominion but commands that all species be “fruitful and multiply”, not just man. Christians are failing at this command. Gen 3 is a story about Adam and Eve discovering that Sex with the “other”. Genesis 3:16 and the Bible only makes sense if Cain is the offspring of the union of Eve and the Ole Serpent as God promises to put enmity between her and his seed. Genesis 4 is a story of the enmity, where God tells man not to pursue agriculture as rending up the ground to grow what one wanted was not favored by God. There is much more to say.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

I believe in the Constitution and its values, which allow for changes based on the electorate's view of providing for the General Welfare and the Common Defense as these ideas change over time. On immigration, the Congress provides the framework for entry into the US and the President implements it with his/her discretion on the law, which the courts may adjudicate. On foreign policy, Congress decides how to organize our laws and budgets dealing with the military and the affairs of state, while the President implements it through the Executive Branch with oversight by Congress. On social matters, I believe we have the right to "Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness" and those actions conducted by consenting adults should be nobodies business but their own.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

I would like to provide a single payer system that covers preventative care and healthcare information for all citizens. In addition I would like to install a system that covers issues that are genetic or through bad luck, instead of poor lifestyle choices as well as a system that covers catastrophic incidents like accidents. Once this system is in place, I would insure that properly identified lifestyle choices that have negative health outcomes confirmed, I would like to tax these choices so that we as a nation discourage that behavior, but also generate enough income to deal with the poor choices that behavior choice impacts some people. Cigarette, Alcohol, Sugary Drinks and other "sin" taxes are better than making those choices against the law.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

My belief is that Economics is not anymore of a science than religion, so the US should not "boost" any industry or process, but it should tax things that bring detriment and in equality to society. For example Sprawl is fostered by the tax breaks on housing allowing well off people to congregate in a school district and fund the local organizations over the other cites that are less well to do. As I discussed previously, taxes based on negative impacts is the way to impact behavior and fund for issues that are detrimental to health of Americans.

What changes should be made to the tax code?

All non profits should be taxed as they seem to do more harm than good. It would focus the voters attention on the process of governance to insure that we fulfill the duties outlined in the Preamble to the Constitution, which are distilled down to providing for the General Welfare and the Common Defense. Instead we seem to elect Judeo Christians that vote to Do no Good and provide for Worldwide Offense. We need to get back to balanced Constitutional Values.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

The problem with employment is technology and the amount of people required to do jobs. We have an overabundance of people, too little cheap energy and too much technology in place that are impacting employment and wages of people. We need to be honest about the issues facing people in America and the World.

How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?

We need to stop spending money we do not have and be realistic about what we promise people and what we can afford. We seem to spend an absurd amount of money on military systems and we should pair back that investment, so we can invest in the American people.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

I have a unique knowledge of how the Federal requirements and dollars impact State issues as I have spent 35 years evaluating every Federal Agency, so I know how government works. I care about Wyoming and its people and I would work hard to make sure government works for the taxpayer. I lead by example, but also with an eye to my “weaknesses” as not all people have the skills to attack all issues. It is a team and I have fantastic advisors that help me understand the issues and how those issues may impact Wyoming and the USA.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?

I want the people of faith to realize that I support their right to worship and live their lives as they see fit, but leave the running of the country to be based on the Constitution and not a religious text. These two ideas can live in harmony as long as the people of faith do not attempt to pass laws based on an incorrect interpretation of their holy texts. This country has a hard enough time dealing with arguments over the Constitution and we know who wrote that document, so trying to interpret Gods' ideas should be left to God and the his Judgement day and not to men and their beliefs in what they think God's intent may be.
