Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Rape, incest or, under our present unconstitutional, socialist system, where an unborn is discovered to have defect(s) liable to make him/her liable to be a burden on the taxpayers. Under other circumstances, where the mother is unmarried and the pregnancy is in the early stages, abortion at non-taxpayer expense should be allowed. As the research in the book, Freekonomics, showed, there is less crime in areas where unwanted children from single parent homes are not roaming the streets as teenagers. However, before any such abortion takes place, there should be a public policy change allowing married couples who wish to adopt such a child to enter into an enforceable contract with such a mother to give her a monetary incentive to carry the pregnancy to term and turn the healthy newborn over to them for adoption. Catholics believe that life begins at conception. Jews believe that life begins at birth. We Protestants believe that life begins when the dog dies and the kids leave home!
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
As Princetonian James Madison pointed out, because men are not angels government was instituted. The separation of powers between the legislative, executive and judiciary at the state as well as the federal level is important. Also between the federal government as the states there is dual sovereignty. As the Libertarian candidate, invite me to elucidate upon the unconstitutional emergency of the administrative state and what can be done about it!

I am a firm believer in God, Alma Mater, Uncle Sam, Santa Claus and the live-and-let live porcupine!

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
That should not be a concern of state of federal government. At the local level, bring back the poor farm and keep the bums moving. That worked in colonial days and until Roosevelts' New Deal began taking money from some people to give it to others. If a citizen does that at gun point, he goes to jail. If the government does that by threat of jail, he goes to Congress!
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
That, too, should not be a concern of state or federal government. At the local level a host of citizen-formed mutual benefit societies performed that function. As the book, Bowling Alone, points out every such voluntary organization that once looked after their own, be they churches or lodges are today a shadow of what they once were. See the books, "From Mutual Aid to the Welfare State" and "The Tragedy of American Compassion" for the details.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Provide a sound judicial system for enforcing contracts voluntarily entered into by private parties. And that courts enforce the law against offenders.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
At Princeton I earned an A.B.degree magna cum laude on my senior thesis, "Colorado Cool and Contented". It was a study of the proponents and opponents and passage of the Colorado Fair Employment Practices Act. I know how government ought to work. At Denver University College of Law I organized a serenading of our Constitutional Law professor, to the tune of "God Bless America", with the words, "God bless free enterprise, system divine, stand beside her, and guide her just as long as the profits are mine. Good old Wall Street, may she flourish. Corporation may they grow. God bless America, the status quo." AT Robinson & Robinson, Colorado's oldest law firm, I have practiced since 1966. I know where the Court Houses are. Doug Bruce,using our offices, successfully passed The Taxpayers Bill of Rights. As AG I'll defend cake makers, guy owners, parents choice of private, parochial, charter and public schools. Also work for school vouchers.

With other state AGs I'll also work to repeal the anti-Catholic "Blaine Claudes embedded in our state constitutions. See Section 34, Article II for Colorado's. I'm also the only AG candidate who has signed the Colorado Union of Taxpayers (CUT) pledge. As your AG, I'll also see that the voter-adopted-on-Nov.6-Fix Our Damn Roads initiative is carried out.
