Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Life threatening situations, it should be a personal decision between patient/Doctor/family, in my view every option to preserve life for the mother and the baby should be fully explained, medical procedures to preserve both lives discussed (if this option exists in the circumstance) and depending on the best medically weighed options to preserve both lives. I love my children. Very glad they were born healthy, they are special gifts. However, as a father, having served in the U.S. Military, having rescued people. As a man, I know I love being a Dad, I think any woman with the courage to become a mother deserves every option to preserve her life (The Mom) and the child's life. There are circumstances that may not allow these options. Sometimes life can not be saved. Having relatives that have wanted children and are unable to have one, women in my life that have wanted a child however, married the wrong person, I know many Americans that would adopt. Options for life.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of radical Islamic terrorism?
Deport/Vet/Fix Visa programs, Radical Islamic/Jihadist should be addressed by Islamic Leaders with in their communities. We have seen several walks of life sympathizers domestically. Many of the attacks internally/domestically are due to horrible vetting of Visa programs. Failed States (Countries) over the last 2 decades, tribal wars, should be vetted internationally along with vetting by America and her allies. We have finally seen a drastic turn around in just 2 years since the 2016 Presidential Election Cycle. America, her allies and other international countries all need to contribute to address this global threat.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
The nature to abuse power once attained, a checks and balances, the Constitution along with the 3 branches, Executive Branch, Legislative Branch (Congress, Senate), U.S. Supreme Court. No one should be above the Law of the Land. Yet, we have witnessed many abuses of Power by appointed Cabinet members, the FBI became Politic, the IRS was being used Politically. Elected Officials should be working in the best interests of Americans and the States they represent. NOT in their own self interests.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Catholic, very proud of both sides of my family heritage. However, also very cautious due to many these days malign faith or groups based from individuals or abuses of women/men using it in very wrong ways. A very good reason why we have the separation of Church and State. Religious Freedom is very important, many marry for the wrong reasons, the wrong person and we all are seeking happiness, acceptance, forgiveness and love.

Having served in the U.S. Naval Submarine Service I had a unique opportunity to witness historical events unfold. Tiananmen Square Massacre '89 then pulled into Hong Kong to show the American Flag. Communist China attempted to wipe this event from history or ever happening. December '91 the Soviet Union Collapsed, visiting Japan, South Korea along with conducting a lot of research. Studying Russian History, Chinese History, knowing while witnessing failures of Socialist Dictatorships. I do my very best to listen, research and gather information to make the best educated decision. Earning the trust of a Rear Admiral, 3 Captains, several Junior Officers, 2 Fast Attack Nuclear Submarines, U.S. Navy Diving Communities, Post 9/11 the U.S. Army 3rd 124th IO Battalion, my Private Sector experience.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Stop turning it into a Political Debate, we have one of the best Healthcare Systems, certain procedures should be priced the same, access should be local, we have several Government run like the VA that should have local access, should have the latest technologies, best treatments in the State of Vermont. Profit of big Pharma companies need to be addressed, there are several abuses of Medicare Fraud, Doctors profiteering off unnecessary procedures while others waiting in long lines. Insurance needs to be affordable allowing competition to bring down prices. The process to allow new medicines and treatments should be shortened. We have some of the best, all that was needed was a law that pre-existing conditions could not be denied. As Americans innovation, research, research of the Human Genome has made rapid changes in treatments of Cancer, many other diseases. Research of the Human Brain.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
TAX REFORM, many States rig their Tax Code for failure rather than success. Vermont is one of the worst states to conduct business. Sitting in the Top-Tier MOST TAXED #7, should be overhauled allowing far more money back in the pockets of Vermonters. We finally have Tax Reform on the Federal Level; Vermont Legislators are working to take away that Federal Tax Relief by proposing more ALL PAIN NO GAIN Tax Schemes. Vermont sits #49 WORST STATE to do business in. Smaller Government, CUT TAXES, allow Economic Prosperity to grow in all 14 Counties of Vermont. Government should be helping rather than HURTING Economic Prosperity. Vermont needs a Federal Representative working in the best interests of Vermonters. Vermont being the only Democrat/Progressive Socialist Super Majority Destroying the Affordability of Vermont. Vermont needs leadership working with present Administration for Economic Prosperity rather than passing more ALL PAIN NO GAIN "Carbon Taxes" that would hurt what is left
What changes should be made to the tax code?
Less regulation, CUTTING TAXES, allowing companies to grow the tax base. Vermont's State Tax Code is one of the most complicated rigging companies and people for failure rather than success. We have Federal changes coming to help, now Vermont's rigged Tax Code for failure should be overhauled. Vermont's Tax Code does more to destroy dreams of Economic Prosperity than it does to help assist business eco-systems/models be successful across all 14 Counties of Vermont.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Better Full Time Jobs that offer good benefits. Vermont claims to have a low unemployment rate, yet, why does 47% of the population still require Government Subsidy? Vermont is still a mixed mess of technologies, it's digital infrastructure, several industries shrinking due to over taxation, regulation and a rigged system that keeps people in poverty (to maintain grant money allocation) rather than working incentives to economic prosperity. Let's face it there is a small portion of our population that will not be able to work, however, 47% need subsidy to exist in Vermont? Statistics need to be investigated further, Vermont claims a lot until you do the research.
How would you guarantee Social Security benefits for future generations?
Stop stealing from it, it is paid into by working people. Stop raiding it.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
A well rounded, worldly experience, loving my State, loving my country and I am still seeking further education. My U.S. Naval Submarine Service experience gave me a view of the world, Politics, International Relations, Catastrophe Management, '89 Earthquake San Francisco, Mud slides, Wild Fires and now seeking a Master's in Cyber Security which is a new threat to our Economic Prosperity. Life learning, applying what I have learned to get me this far in life and wanting more challenges, enjoy working with talented teams. Red, White and Blue through and through, proud native born semi-sarcastic (due to Farming/Granite industry grandfathers) with mutual respect empowering women to seek their dreams. Basically, I feel I have a lot to offer my State and my Country still. God Bless America may she still lead on further into the 22nd Century!
