What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Fear of loosing one's social status and greed are probably the most prominent. I think the founders also understood without the separation of powers clearly defined they knew we may be at risk of falling back into an oligarchy or worse.

Additional comment from candidate:

If you want a representative with strong ethics and moral values I ask for your vote. If you want a representative that will be able to start working on Day 1, I ask for your Vote. If you want a representative with a proven grasp of the issues facing our communities and state I ask for your vote. If you want a representative with a proven record of not only successfully working on legislation that promoted our values, but helped create an environment for job creation and business growth, I ask for your vote. It's great that people say they want jobs to grow our communities and economy, but if you don't understand why companies are leaving, then you can fix it. Having been the Legislative Director at Pennsylvania's Department of Commerce, I not only know why our community is loosing jobs, but how to fix it. Having worked for the Pennsylvania State Police and Pennsylvania Attorney Generals Office, I understand the importance of keeping our communities safe.
