OTHER INFORMATION

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Human life begins at conception and deserves legal protection at every stage until natural death.

Neutral

I am in favor of construction of a wall and other necessary infrastructure on our border that gives complete control over entering and exiting the United States.

Strongly Disagree

Governments should not discriminate against individuals, organizations or small businesses because of their belief that marriage is only a union of one man and one woman.

Strongly Agree

Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.

It is the government’s responsibility to be sure everyone has a livable income.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Rape, incest, and when the health of the mother is threatened.

What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?

Man at his core desires nothing more to be free. The powers were separated so that no one man should rule like a tyrant over others.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God, and that the divine presents itself to each person in a way they are best able to understand.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?

Moderate

Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.

As a libertarian, I tend to be fiscally conservative and socially liberal. Simply put: Don't hurt people, and don't take their stuff.

What is the best way to bring down unemployment?

Get out of the way of new businesses by reducing or eliminating restrictive legislation and unnecessary licensing which stifle the creation of new jobs.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?

Prices would drop and quality would increase if we remove government interference and enable free markets. Allowing competition across state lines is essential.

What role should government play in boosting the economy?

Government has to get out of the way. The only it should be doing is to protect property rights, adjudicate disputes, and provide a legal framework in which voluntary trade is protected.

What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?

The Ohio Constitution requires only that a Representative be a qualified elector in their district for more than a year. This is because all voices, from farmers to lawyers, should be represented. I am not a career politician, but an honest laborer who loves his state and country and wishes to serve.
