Jacob Turk is not a lawyer, nor a career politician, but a Missouri conservative who knows first hand the challenges of starting and operating a small business successfully for twelve years. Mr. Turk earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering with the GI Bill from his service as a U.S. Marine and has worked in private industry in the fields of engineering and information technology. He has been a substitute high school teacher in the subjects of physics, chemistry, calculus and physical science. Mr. Turk is committed to protecting innocent life and as such worked as the Director of Development for The Women's Clinic of Kansas City, a free pregnancy resource center for low-income pregnant girls and women. Served on the Board of Directors for the Love Fund for Children.

Contributor and volunteer for various ministries that affirm and respect the dignity of each human life. Member and volunteer for his church, Lee's Summit Community Church. Youth soccer coach for six years. Served on the Board of Directors for the Love Fund for Children.
