Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
the obvious answer is, in accordance with law. so, an abortion should be allowed under the parameters set forth in roe v wade. you might as well ask "under what circumstances should you be allowed to drive a car," or "under what circumstances should a construction permit be issued" or "when should you be allowed to buy a loaf of bread?"
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
i have no idea; you have to ask them. but in my experience as an attorney since 1989 and having worked for the state of ohio for 14 years as an environmental prosecutor, i do believe the separation of state and church is a good idea, i also believe in the separation of powers, and i also believe that each branch of government serves as a check and balance to the other two branches. i also believe that jefferson was right and hamilton was wrong. i also believe in the 10th amendment.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
god is my co-pilot. together, god and i create my reality. i am thankful i have the power of free will and can make my own decisions w/out god chastising me for the decisions i make. god gives me the freedom to choose and my choice can never offend god because god wants me to exercise my own free will. i take counsel and guidance from mother nature. she is god's handiwork and she is never wrong. mother nature evolves and develops according to universal laws set in motion by god. thus, to learn from mother nature is to learn from god. i believe in not causing harm to other persons or their property or to mother nature. i believe that i have the right to harm myself should i choose to do so because i have free will. thus, i do not think that government has the authority to prevent me from killing myself for whatever reason, nor to seek assistance in my own death should i choose to terminate it.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Moderate
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
what economic and social issues? on social issues i am very liberal. on economic issues i am very conservative. i believe in a small and limited form of government. yet i do believe that government should provide essential services, like pre school care, after school care, medicare for all, education, highways, bridges, tunnels, airports, libraries, cops, fire fighters, a military, roads, harbors, etc. i can't do it alone and neither can any of my fellow citizens. thus, we need government to provide these essential services. but government should be small and limited. i don't want the government to tell me what kind of foods i can eat or whom i can buy them from, nor do i want the government to tell me who can cut my hair, or who can give me dental care or medical care. i think i should be able to choose for myself w/out govt. interference thank you very much.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
the best way to bring down unemployment is to put more money in the pockets of workers. the more money they have, the more they can buy stuff produced by companies. the more stuff that companies sell, the more money they make. the more money they make, the more they can expand their businesses and the more employees they can hire. so the best way to reduce unemployment is to give everyone a living wage. seems counter intuitive but it's logical.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
medicare for all is the answer because it works and is solvent. expand medicare principles to include EVERYONE. think about it. medicare is solvent yet it covers the most expensive, oldest, vulnerable and sickest populations. if medicare can provide coverage for that class of patients, and remain solvent, think how successful it would be if healthy people were covered in its umbrella. then health care costs would plummet.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
it depends. if the economy is running smoothly and functioning well, with high wages, a good standard of living, benefits for working people, then government should stay out. when the economy is bad, however, like the stock market crash of 1928 and the great recession of 2008, then government needs to step in and stimulate the economy. reagan and david stockman proved that trickle down economics is a failure, so government should not try that approach again. rather, government boosts the economy by spending money. by spending money the government promotes jobs. the more money government has, the more it can spend that money on the economy. the less money government has, the less it can spend money on the economy. remember, corporations are not in existence to help the economy. their duty is to their shareholders. thus, the economy cannot rely on the private sector alone to stimulate it. govt needs to be involved to stimulate the economy and govt does that by spending $
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
i'm 60 years old and have tons of experience with human behavior. my father was in the air force while i was growing up and we moved 16 times in 20 years. i attended 9 schools in k-12 so i have experienced many cultures and have learned how to be adaptable and flexible. i have practiced law since 1989 and have worked for the state of ohio as an environmental prosecutor. i know how government works, i know how laws are passed and enforced, and i know the limits of governmental authority. i know how to push back when government exceeds its authority. i have been an organic vegetable farmer and i have been general counsel for a non-profit that represented farmers all over the country. i know how food can be produced and distributed in a local and sustainable manner. i represent the underdog and i know how to protect liberty and property. plus, i have actually used a horse drawn manure spreader to spread manure. thus, i can spread manure with the best of them.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
i am running as a green party candidate because the two party system has failed us. if you vote blue or red nothing will change. the two party system has failed and we are where we are in this country because of the two party system. i do not believe corporations have a right to a religious expression nor should they have any constitutional rights. i believe that our rights guaranteed to us by the constitution are personal in nature, not corporate in nature. the only rights given to corporations are those that are granted to it by their charter. i believe in one person one vote, not one $ one vote. thus, money is not speech and you should not be allowed to give money to a candidate's campaign if you can't vote. i believe in people over corporations, planet over profits, and peace over violence. vote green.
