While I do not personally believe in abortion, I do no think that the government should have the right to take control over a women's body or her decisions. I also think there has to be a non-biased educational session to make sure the best decision is made for that individual.

I was raised in a cristian home and attended church weekly. I continued these values while raising my children. I graduated from non denominational high school. Religion has always been in my life. I have never run into a professional situation where my religious beliefs interfered with my ability to make rational and just decisions.

We need to make sure that the jobs that are out there have a livable wage. We also need to make sure that we are preparing people for life and not just trying to force them into college.

We need to expand Medicare and Medicaid coverage as well as limiting pre existing conditions. We also need to health insurers accountable to maintaining reasonable rates for coverage.

My 30+ years in retail have taught me a lot. This experience has helped me realize that people are the greatest asset that exist in any setting. You can have the best company or government, but people make it successful. My years of management have given me the ability to listen to people to understand their concerns.

I bring a different set of skills to this office. I understand people and believe that they need to have a Representative that will represent all fairly and equally. People have to come first. I am willing to listen and make the best decisions, not based on political beliefs. We are at a time where we can make positive changes in our government that will benefit us all going forward.
