I would support the repeal of the Authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF) enacted on 9/12/01, and stop military strikes throughout the Muslim world. That has the effect of bringing more volunteers to the cause. I would also Begin diplomatic efforts to resolve the wars in Yemen and Syria and other Middle East hot spots, including Israel and Palestine.

I would support the implementation of the Green New Deal, a plan for transitioning the economy to 100% clean, renewable energy. This plan includes the formation of green jobs and would stimulate billions of dollars in economic growth. I believe the federal government has a responsibility to provide leadership and political will to support this initiative.

I have ongoing experience working with them to improve the effectiveness of the program through suggested procedural enhancements and I understand what it takes to push against multiple stakeholder interests to achieve what I believe is in the best interests of all. I have seen first hand the impacts such improvements have had on those who's homes are treated by the program.

I have been campaigning committed to the belief that we all, regardless of our political persuasion, have common concerns that transcend politics. The well-being of our children, perhaps above all else, is one area where I have found common ground throughout the state. I decided to run for this office because I am concerned for my two daughters' future and that of everyone else's children. We cannot continue to disregard the climate crisis and send our kids into an unknown future, where it is becoming more and more likely that the changing climate will challenge them beyond what they can endure. I am just as concerned about the normalization of the world's nuclear weapons, another existential threat. I am also focused on the economy, which has become warped over the past several generations to favor the very wealthiest, leaving the rest of us at a severe disadvantage. Non of this needs to be. We can challenge it all. Please vote for me and I will work on your behalf! Thank you!
