Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Life is precious at every stage from conception until natural death. Government must protect life, and the destruction of innocent life should never be sanctioned by Government or allowed under law.
What in the nature of mankind caused America’s Founders to carefully define, separate, and limit powers in the Constitution?
We are inherently sinners, and the nature of man is to fall into sin. Limits to power and separation of powers serve as a check to this tendency.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a born again believer, redeemed by our Lord, Jesus Christ.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and immigration, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information validating your answer to the previous question.
My history of conservative activism and the endorsements I have received this election cycle (and prior cycles) stands as a testimony to my consistent conservatism.
What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
Open up the free market further. Reduce barriers to entry for individuals starting businesses and eliminate unnecessary occupational licensing for many professions where licensing is not necessary.
How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
Encourage private employers to provide and subsidize plans where possible; encourage insurance companies to provide portable plans; change the law to allow high deductible catastrophic plans; encourage transparency and free market principles at the point of service, allowing downward pressure for most procedures through competition.
What role should government play in boosting the economy?
Remove barriers to entry; reduce regulation; ensure a level playing field. So called "Economic Incentives" are big-Government schemes to redistribute taxpayer dollars to "connected" businesses, and should be eliminated wherever possible.
What education or experience qualifies you to hold the office for which you seek election?
I have been an Air Force Officer, a Large Business Executive, and a Small Business Owner. I'm a conservative activist, and have been active in multiple legislative initiatives through the years. I understand how good legislation gets passed in Austin, and I understand how to kill bad legislation.
