What is the best way to bring down unemployment?
The best way to bring down unemployment is to provide a living minimum wage of $12-$15 per hour and provide a progressive tax system which reduces the burden on the Middle class and the poor. Increasing the minimum wage for those at the lower wage levels will provide a significant stimulus for the economy. This in turn will create greater demand for good and services. A fair progressive tax system will assist the State Government in improving the infrastructure. Education is also part of the state infrastructure, a secure state infrastructure improves the productivity of the businesses and people in the state. A progressive taxation system will assist the schools and bring a greater level of prosperity to future generations and to the future of the state.
