What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?
The United States was founded on the principles of the Judeo-Christian values. The Government cannot regulate the Church unless it possess a threat to the welfare of the people and that the Constitution is the law of the land. Like Islam is a governmental system based on a religious belief which over steps the separation of church and state because the church is the state. Therefore is not compatible with the Constitution of the United States.

How would you promote healthcare coverage that is adequate, affordable and accessible for all?
First healthcare is not a right provided anywhere in the Constitution. Healthcare should be available to everyone and is in most places through publicly funded Hospitals. To reduce insurance premiums we must break up the big pharma company by separating research and development from manufacturer. Lower malpractice awards by capping the amount someone can be awarded. Reduce processing time by insurance companies for claims from providers and allow insurers to cross state lines to increase competition for business.

I believe that if anyone wish to immigrate to the United States should have to follow the procedures that are in place to enter legally. Anyone that enters illegally should be immediately returned to their country of origin. Asylum seeks should be required to present themselves at a legal port of entry. If they enter the country illegally than the forfeit the right to claim asylum.

My spouse is a legal immigrant to the United States we have been married for 33 years. I served 29 years in the United States Army in 15 different countries around the globe. I will serve the people of the Texas 16th District, the State of Texas and the United States with honor.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
We all have the right to have guns unless we have committed a crime that precludes us. Violent offenders should own guns as is the case today those right should not be restored. As a citizen of the United States we all have the right to defend ourselves and family from violence. We also have a duty to protect other that are threated with violence. It has been proven time and time again that a responsible gun owner has stop a crime of violence from happening.

Veterans Hospital for the West Texas and Southern New Mexico area. End Medicare payments from being taken from Social Security Benefits Term Limits of 12 years for House, Senate and Supreme Court Program to House Homeless veterans in underutilized government housing on military installations with treatment and reintegration into society.

Racism is a term that is over used by many people. There are 5 genetic sub race of the human race. What most people are calling racism is not racism the war on poverty has created a victim class that is told by some that because the have a certain skin color that they need a boost from the government to be successful which is far from the truth we as Americans all have the same opportunities to be successful in America. Our personal choice determine our destiny not our race of economic status.
